Pretty awesome drive. Looks great and performs wonderful! If you are looking for a little extra distance, a great looking drive and a story to talk about at the 19th - give Mr. Big a try!!

A Big Comparison

It isn't often you get to play Pro Shop Clubs and your own Maltby Brand clubs at the same time. I have built quite a few sets of Maltby clubs and recently I was in San Diego visiting and I played golf with my son who has the Mr Big Driver and 3 Wood. Also the CER 700 fairway woods and irons. I rented sets of Taylor, Cobra, Calaway clubs. I got to hit both my own and also the others. The irons were not noticably different but the MR Big was clearly longer and had the same shaft length. Since Flex is not a PGA controlled component I do not consider that a factor but the Mr Big had R flex shaft as did the others. One thing I have noticed with the longer shaft drivers, including my own Mr Big is that they are prone to slicing for some people. If they play the ball forward in their stance they seem to resilve the problem.

I use the 13 degree version, my swing speed is ~80 MPH and 'when' I hit the sweet spot (as I'm a beginner)...well, it's a good thing someone spots my ball because it GOES!!! Looks great, sounds awesome and smacks the ball way out there...an excellent choice for someone who wants some great distance. It'll be me driver for life...give it a try, you won't regret it.
