MALTBY CT250 MAXIMUM MOI DRAW DRIVER HEADS

The Maltby CT250 Maximum MOI Draw Driver Series combines every aspect of technology possible to produce straighter and longer drives. The width and breadth of the golf club's head have been expanded to increase the perimeter weighting and locate the center of gravity low and to the back. The increased perimeter weighting raises the moment of inertia (MOI) for maximum forgiveness. The rearward center of gravity location optimizes trajectory. The distribution of the mass is biased towards the heel of the golf club and the visible heel weighting screw enhances this bias. The positioning of more weight in the heel in the wide body anti slice driver design promotes easier golf club head rotation through the hitting zone, reducing a slight to moderate slice ball flight. The 1° closed face angle also promotes a more square golf club face at impact, as well as increases the effective loft (ex: 10.5° with 1° closed face produces 11.5° “effective” loft at impact) for higher, straighter shots. The expanded face surface also increases the perimeter weighting and instills confidence at address.

Highlights:

  • Wider golf club head design increases Moment of Inertia (resistance to twisting) for more forgiveness on off-center hits.
  • Heel biased weighting aids in golf club head rotation, helping to square the golf club face at impact.
  • Low and back center of gravity location promotes higher launch angles for optimum distance.
  • Four Piece Forged, 6-4 Titanium construction.
  • Match with GolfWorks Maltby CT250 50 gram high performance graphite shaft for higher clubhead speeds.
  • 1° closed face angle at address helps reduce the slight to moderate slice ball flight.
  • Available as heads only in 9.5°, 10.5°, and 12° loft options or have the GolfWorks professional custom assembly team build the driver for you.
  • Recommended golf ferrule – 62OW

Awesome

I am going to keep this very simple...My Taylormade Tour Burner TP with Aldila Voo Doo shaft is laid to rest....have built the CT 250 draw with V2 shaft...better fitting for me and club has a much better flight pattern and an excellent feel...I'm impressed with the Maltby products.

CT250 Driver
Reviewed By: Joe (Townsend, MA)
A few buckets of balls and 2 rounds with my new CT250 driver and I am already seeing a huge increase in my driving distance. My last 9 with the league I out drive everyone on almost every hole! A significant improvement over my old driver! I assembled the club myself using the recommended Maltby shaft. WHat a great club! Joe

Cut down on my slice
Reviewed By: Pete (Phoenix, AZ)
I tend to slice my drive and over swing. The CT250 Draw Driver didn't eliminate the slice completely, but drastically cut down my slice. I would dare call my shot a slight fade rather than a slice. Pretty unusual to play in the fairway. Nice to play a whole round with only 1 ball too.
