MALTBY TROUBLE OUT HYBRID HEADS

The Maltby Trouble Out Hybrids offer the same bounce sole angle design as the fairway woods, but in a head shape and weight that will appeal to those that prefer a hybrid design. The innovative dual runner sole design not only prevents the clubhead from digging, but allows it to glide over the ground. The majority of the head weight on these all stainless hybrids was designed in to the solid mass sole (Advanced Shell Technology), keeping center of gravity extremely low promoting solid golf shots from any turf condition. Combine this with bounce angle sole, and these hybrids allow you to get the ball up and out of any lie.

Highlights:

  • Trouble Out Sole Technology in a Hybrid design.
  • Hybrid design with the TO sole is much easier to get airborne than long irons, from any lie.
  • Minimum profile sole area with bounce angle controls club head through turf, sand and rough (non digging – non bouncing).
  • Sharp, dual runner sole helps keep clubhead aligned to target as it cuts through turf and grass. The Maltby Trouble Out Hybrids perform extremely well from fairway bunkers.
  • Thin shell technology with majority of the head weight designed into the solid mass sole give the TO hybrids an extremely low center of gravity.
  • Available in 4 loft options - 20°, 25°, 30°, 35°.
  • Slightly heavier head weights for ultimate control and head mass through impact.
  • Custom assembly options available.
  • Recommended ferrule – 60PI

WOW

I have the H2 in this and I would put this up against any large name product on the market. Don't be fooled by the $10 shaft - it is as good as any on the market from the big boys. This is a very solid feeling club. I want the H3 - H5 now!

I've replaced the top end of my bag withthese

I've replaced the entire top end of my bag with these.I start my irons now at an 8 iron, and ever since doing this,I have never looked back. I like how all four clubs keep the 5 degrees of loft between them and they work very well together.I built these using true temper tt lite shafts in the stiff flex.I use grip one jumbo arthritic grips because i like to have a more full feel in the grip area. They are arrow straight, and i've had no problems holding the green.my only two small problems with them, are 1 the faces on mine seem to scratch up real easy, wich again may just be my poor form. Also I knd of wish the numbering system was better or maybe printed on the head covers.Right now they use a system of color tabs that fit on the head covers.this can be kind of confusing,to remedy this,I colored in the white ring around the Maltby logo with a sharpie that cordinates to what loft the club is. Beyond those two small things,I can find no really great fault in these wonderful clubs.I use the lofts of the clubs to simulate my most commonly used irons 3,5,7,9. Like most golfers it seems like I am always going to these specific yardages,so I now use these instead to help me eliminate any room for error.....and they work, real damn good.

My 25 degree Trouble Out Hybrid is assembled with a 5 iron shaft and it is so easy to hit. It is so accurate too. I have never hit anything so repeatable 175 yds.
