MALTBY MILLED WEDGE HEADS

Continuing our industry leading development in the wedge arena, Ralph and the Maltby design team are excited to introduce the next generation of the Maltby M-Series wedges – the Maltby M-Series Milled Face wedges. The classic shape with minimal .080" offset looks great behind the ball and instills the confidence needed to hit the “skill” shots around the green. The USGA conforming CNC milled face and U-grooves provide the optimum in spin control. A more consistent sole width from toe to heel enables the bounce to be utilized in soft conditions. Manufactured from soft 304 stainless steel, the M-Series Milled wedges will be the best feeling and best performing wedges you will ever put in your bag.

Highlights:

  • CNC milled face and U – Grooves provide maximum spin control from a variety of turf conditions.
  • Classic shape appeals to a wide range of golfers.
  • More consistent .880" sole width allows the player to open the face without loosing the effective bounce.
  • Manufactured from soft 304 stainless steel for great feel.
  • Available in 52°/4°, 56°/10° and 60°/5° loft / bounce options.
  • Increased head weights for improved feel.
  • Recommended ferrule – 74PI

Par saver!
Reviewed By: Watch (Colorado Springs, Co)
Guys, this is the same exact club that sells for $150 in the pro shop. Mine cost $31 to build. I built it two days ago. Today, I played in a fund-raiser tourney, and I made four perfect greenside shots with it to save par for my team: two from wicked greenside rough to downhill flag placements with shots that had to check up, and two from greenside bunkers from shots that also had to absolutely check up -- to downhill flag positions on slick greens. (I didn't hit the two flop shots I tried with it, but I figure that was because I haven't practiced those yet with this club.) I would suggest a club length of 35.5" for a "standard" on this great club. Give it a shot.

Great wedge
Reviewed By: Ted (Louisville, Kentucky)
I have played several types of the Maltby wedges, as well as Cleveland, Mizuno, etc. This may well be my favorite. I love the way it looks at address, and I get great spin with it. Over the last weekend I holed out a pitch shot and hit the best flop shot of my life with the lob wedge.
