MALTBY 304 STAINLESS MILLED PUTTER HEADS

The Maltby 304 Stainless Milled Putters are the premium quality you have come to expect from the Maltby brand of putters. Manufactured from SS304 Soft Stainless, these putters have an incredible feel. In fact, the Rockwell hardness rating of the 304 stainless is very similar to carbon steel. These models are precision skin milled to exact specifications. The face has a unique 3 way milling that insures a perfectly flat face and produces a truer roll. The 304 Milled Series offers 3 distinct body styles. The 02 model is a heel / toe straight line style with a 4.70" blade length and an offset hosel. The 03 model is a small mallet style with a 3.92" blade length and 90° bore, and the 04 model is a modern mallet style with a 4.18" blade length, the trademark Maltby “ball in motion” alignment system and a 90° bore for use with a double bend shaft. All of the models have the slightly heavier head weights making them ideal for multiple playing lengths, from 32" up to belly lengths, without the need for additional weight. Our goal in developing the Maltby 304 Series of putters was to offer a line of putters that compares to the expensive OEM brands, without the exorbitant price. We believe we accomplished that goal.

Better than Ping

2 weeks ago, we had a Ping demo day at our Country Club, and I tried all of the various Ping putter models - even the most expensive ones even though they were way out of my price range. After assembling and playing the Maltby MSP2 blade, I find it every bit as good as the $250 Ping Redwood Black Satin, and better than any of the Karsten Series. The quality is flawless, and the milled face really is cool. It is solid, yet soft at the same time, and the slightly heavier weight really feels good and makes it even easier to keep the putter's line during the put. And...for only $32 total for head, shaft (FST stepless) and grip (Lamkin Crossline putter), this putter is a FAR better value than any of the Pings. Great job by the Maltby team on this one.
