KE4 Set
Reviewed By:
Bob (Ohio, Ohio)
Excellent club set. Using the shafts suggested (all graphite as well as TT Dynamic Gold Irons with Graphite hybrid woods and driver) work well. These heads work very well with steel or graphite. Sweet spot is right on the weight port. Very easy to hit club with excellent playability and adjustability for the well above average to the average golfer. By moving the weight port to directly behind the sweet spot, players who like great feel get it. A shot hit on the sweet spot has a high trajectory and good distance. Beautiful finish. Woods are light and fast as are the hybrids. Driver is very light and easy to swing fast, hard, or slow.

I attended professional clubfitting class in may of 2010 and while at the golfworks I had the opertunity to try these irons and was pleased at the pure strike I got of these irons I took it upon myself to build a set of these clubs but I wanted a graphite shaft so I matched them up with excaliber graphite shafts I wouldnt take anything for these clubs I even removed my hybrids from my bag because of the ball flight and pure feel I get IM 57 yrs old 12 handicap but I can see me getting to single digit handicap before two long all I can say is try them like I did .

Best KE4 iron I've used
Reviewed By:

I had to build a set of 2010 conforming irons for myself. After evaluating a number of choices, I chose this club head. It has turned out to be a fantastic choice. Supposedly, this clubhead has a higher CG which I would have thought would keep the ball low. But if anything, I hit these clubs higher and with more power than the original KE4 irons. But the control and accuracy are there.
The sole is much wider than I expected, something along the lines of the Callaway big Bertha irons. However, the offset is low so the irons are not clunky like Big Berthas. It is a players iron in a different form. I am a good golfer whose game weakness has been hitting greens (I usually average 2-4 under par on my GIRs and too much over par on greens I miss). Now hit 60-75 of the greens I attempt with these irons. My score has plummeted. Plus, they were the least expensive option I evaluated! And I easily MOI matched them after they are built. (Much easier to do then while building them). Best KE4 iron I have used. (I have used the KE4 original, U30 and KE4 Tour.)
