Maltby MPF Distance Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great shaft This shaft is a bargain. Long and stable. I have tried a fujikura 686, 757, ust v2, grafalloy blue and the standard matrix on my rbz head. The mpf 4d2m is by far the most consistent and a bit longer for my swing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pleased I am very pleased with the price and performance of this shaft. Drives are straight with a decent length.

I have a old Maltby CT-250 will this shaft fit?

Asked by: 1978millwrong
The CT 250 drivers and fairway woods were a .350" hosel bore. You could use this shaft put you would need to shim the .335" shaft to fit the .350" hosel bore. You could do that using the SHIM 15 (SHIM) or the Universal Plastic Shim (BB9018). http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=BB9018 http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_SHIM

I have a Ping G30 LS Tech head and have a swing speed between 99-105 MPH. I'm looking for a shaft with a little more kick at the bottom without ballooning to add more distance without sacrificing accuracy...suggestion?

Asked by: Craig711
The M-Series Distance shaft is a quality shaft but it is designed to increase trajectory. Without knowing your current launch conditions and the exact specs of the Ping shaft it is difficult to accurately recommend a shaft. However, one of if not the best ultra light (50g) shafts currently on market with a high bend point for a more penetrating shaft is the XCaliber SWD50. This 50 gram shaft has a very smooth, lively feel and promotes a lower trajectory. At your club head speed the S flex would be a good fit. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_AS0033

I would like to reshaft my taylormade, 12 degree sldr s with a 44 inch shaft with a cpm at regular. ?My swing speed is between 85 and 90. ?What you recommend. ?

This shaft in an R flex should set up well for what you are trying to achieve. The MPF Distance shaft is a very good in expensive shaft.
