Maltby Tricept MG Tech Wedges

The Maltby Tricept MG Tech Wedges are modified version of our best selling Tricept wedges featuring multi-groove technology for improved spin. The groove volume is slightly reduced to allow for 5 additional grooves to be added to the club face. The concept is simple, adding more groove edges while maintaining the same amount of total groove volume will add more friction between the golf ball and club face. In addition to the added CNC milled micro-grooves, the MG Tech wedges also feature laser etched scoring lines added to the club face for additional surface texture.

The MG Tech wedges feature a rolled leading edge and a four way cambered sole to help eliminate fat golf shots. The finish is a durable semi-mirror nickel plating that reduces glare but still has the appearance of a classic mirror-polished wedge.

  • ”Tour MG” multi-groove technology for added spin.
  • CNC milled face surface with laser etched technology to further enhance spin.
  • Rolled leading edge and 4 way cambered sole.
  • Features OMP (Optimum Mass Placement) placing more mass towards the toe for improved feel and ball striking consistency.
  • Available in 52º, 54º, 56º, 58º and 60º options.
  • Product Code = MA0213

Maltby Tricept MG Tech Wedge Clubhead Specifications

Maltby Tricept MG Tech Wedges is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel and control I Purchased the 52, 56, and 60 Maltby Tricept MG Tech Wedges. I installed "FSB tour 90" shafts on them and am happy with the results. They are great looking wedges that have a nice feel and control. Micro grooves and laser etching on the face create a level of control from all types of lies. I like the trajectory and stopping power of these wedges. My wedge configuration has produced "high end" results at about $60 per club.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wedges that rival any out there OK I don't have enough superlatives for these wedges. I would easily compare these to any high end wedge on today' market. These give you the best of both worlds playability and workability. These are accurate and the new grooves provide great spin while still staying within USGA guidelines. You need to give these great looking and playing irons a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Wedge Have tried almost all the latest wedges, but decided to try a custom wedge. Had the loft and lie bent to my specs, threw in a premium graphite shaft (Recoil 660) and, viola, the best wedge I've ever played!
