MALTBY TRICEPT BM3 FAIRWAYS
The Maltby Tricept BM3 Fairway Woods might possibly be the most complex and high-tech fairway wood designs ever developed. Designed with MAT (Multiple Adjustment Technology) allowing for customization of weight and face angle along with a four piece Precision Forged multi-material manufacturing process, the BM3 Fairway Woods are built for pure distance. The super thin (1.6mm) VFT Super Maraging 455 Cup Face design, Super Maraging 455 1.5mm thick crown and ultra high strength Chromoly body produce CT ratings exceeding most 460cc driver heads and significantly higher CT ratings than any other metal fairway wood we have tested.
The ultra thin Maraging 455 crown allows more weight to be distributed low and rearward in the sole for optimum performance. Single screw weight system allows for head weight customization for a variety of playing lengths and shaft weights.
Each Tricept BM3 fairway wood head comes with two different runners (Square and 2º Closed) for face angle customization. The BM3 runners are manufactured from 431 Stainless Steel and at 10 grams each, also aid in lowering the center gravity further enhancing performance. Typical adjustable golf clubs use an 8 to 10 gram hosel sleeve to adjust face angle which removes valuable head weight from the sole of the fairway wood which ultimately has a negative effect on playability.
