Miyazaki Kusala White Series Shaft Specifications

Miyazaki Kusala White Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I just placed the Miyazaki Kusala shaft in my Taylormade M1 430 driver. I picked up 24 more carry yards from the Diamana 60 S+ stock shaft for the M1 Driver. My average carry distance was 240 with the stock shaft, and now my carry distance is 265 with the Miyazaki Kusala. FYI, I am a 5 handicap at the age of 45.

A shaft equivalent to Miyazaki C.Kua 39R?

Asked by: Iris
The Xcaliber Tour SL R flex from our test data shows us as a good match for the C Kua 39. It is just a couple of grams heavier in weight at 48 compared to 45 grams listed for the raw weight of the C Kua 39 and the playing characteristics match up well. The C Kua 39 was a .350" tip diameter and the Xcaliber Tour SL is only available in a .335" tip size so you will need to shim the shaft to fit. Our SHIM15 or Universal Plastic Shim will work well for this.

Hi, could you please tell me if this shaft comes in a regular flex ? Kind Regards Mike.

Asked by: mike pollard
The Miyazaki line of shafts has been discontinued. Miyazaki is owned by Srixon and Srixon made the decision to stop manufacturing shafts. The 56 and 61 X flexes are the only shafts we have left in this model.

I have a Kusala 61x with flex code 6852. What flex is this rated ?

Asked by: Per808
The Miyazaki flex code indicates stiffness along 4 areas of the shaft. The first number is the Butt stiffness, the second is the mid-butt stiffness, the third is mid-tip stiffness and the fourth is tip stiffness. The scale goes from 0 (most flexible) to 9 (stiffest). So, 6582 would be stiff+ butt, stiff mid-butt, xtra stiff mid tip and softer tip. Comparative traditional designations would be X=7, S=5, R=3, A=1.

Can you use white kusala in 3 metal fairway?

Asked by: randy Mobley
Yes the White Kusala can be installed into a 3 metal fairway wood. The trimming instructions for this shaft recommend cutting 1" off the tip before installing to maintain the flex of the shaft.
