I have Miyazaki special edition 3GS x2216d54 Rex 6424. My question is what does all this mean.

Asked by: earl
Where it says FLEX 6424 this is a code of the stiffness of the shaft in 4 different zones of the shaft. 6 is the butt stiffness which is between an S and X flex. 4 is the mid butt stiffness which they list as between and R and S flex. 2 is the mid tip stiffness which is between an A and R flex and 4 is the tip stiffness which is again between an A and R flex. It tells me that this is a mid to mid low bend point shaft. Actually the 3GS x2216d54 I am assuming is on a sticker at the butt end of the shaft and would be manufacturing information used by Miyazaki. The S in 3GS likely stands for S flex.

Hi I'm just wondering which mayazaki driver shaft would suit me I have a titleist 915 driver I need a low kick high launch shaft and I swing quick so need stiff shaft as well can u plz give me some options on mayazaki and aldila driver shafts that would?

Asked by: foggy
Miyazaki, which is owned by Srixon stopped manufacturing shafts so we have very few left in stock and really none that match up to what you are looking for. In Aldila the Tour Red nxt Gen MLT 65 or 75 S flex could be a good choice. The Rogue Black 60 or 70 S flex could be another good choice.

I need senior flex, need to have feel of the head during down swing. Will you be bringing new stock for the B Asha series 3A

Asked by: Goh Steve
We have no plans to bring in the B Asha 3A shaft. Miyasaki has discontinued manufacturing shafts. One alternative you might want to consider is the Xcaliber Tour SL in the A flex. We have had a lot of positive feedback on this shaft.

Why on earth would you discontinue this great shaft? It is what makes the Cleveland Black club special with its light weight? Does anyone else make a shaft this light?

Asked by: geezercb
Srixon / Cleveland owns the Miyazaki line of shafts and they are the ones who discontinued or stopped production of the Miyazaki line of shafts. With the company owned by Srixon / Cleveland the other major club manufactures would not purchase shafts from them for their products. They do not like to purchase from their competition. That limited their sales and they decided to stop production of the shafts. If you were looking at the lightest weight B.Asha then here are some shafts that could work well.
