Are these shafts pre cut to length? I am thinking of switching from r flex dynamic gold 300s to something with better feel for Mizuno 825 pro irons. Any suggestions?

No they are not pre cut to a finished length. When you order the shaft you can request a shaft prep to have them cut for the finished length you would like with your Mizuno 825 pro irons. There is an additional charge of $4.95 per shaft to have the shaft prep service.
For your Mizuno 825 Pro Irons you would actually need the NP0003 shafts which are the .355" taper tip version. They would also have to have the shaft prep service to be cut to your finished length.

How does the 1150GH compare in flex to other shafts like KBS Tour or Rifle? I'd like around 5.0-5.5 flex. Would R work or would I need to hard step it or soft step an S? Thanks

In looking at our shaft test data the Nippon N.S. Pro 1150GH Tour S flex is more flexible then the Project X Rifle, and KBS Tour R flex shafts. Our data showed the KBS Tour R flex as 10 cpms stiffer at the butt end and the Project X Rifle 5.0 13 cpms stiffer. The closest match I found was the Project X Pxi 5.0 flex which was 5 cpm's softer at the butt end then the N.S. Pro 1150 GH Tour S flex. The 5.5 Rifle shaft tested 15 cpm's stiffer then the 1150 GH. The Nippon N.S. Pro 1150GH was more flexible at all the zones we tested compared to the other shaft except the tip stiffness measurement of the original Rifle 5.5 shaft which was more flexible at the tip.
