pro a12 what shaft should I put in them. I have kBS X STIFF IN THEM NOW WANT TO DOWN GRADE BUT KEEP SIMILAR WAIGHT

Asked by: BIG BOY
The Nippon N.S. Pro 1150GH Tour S flex shaft weights approximately 15 grams less then the KBS Tour X flex. If by down grade you mean more flexible then you might want to just consider using the KBS Tour S flex. It is only about 3 grams lighter in weight. The Nippon shaft that stays closer to the weight of the KBS Tour is the N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 130. However it is a softer tip stiffness design then the KBS Tour.

I want to order shafts for a 7 iron thru gap wedge at standard lengths. Which length shafts do I order or does it not matter? I want to get the nippon 1150 GH tour with stiff flex. Thanks....Dave

Several ways you could go, but the most basic way, based on you wanting to build the clubs to standard length would be to buy the 37.5" thru 35.5" shaft. 37.5" for the 7 iron, 37" for the 8 iron, 36.5" for the 9 iron, 36" for the PW, 35.5" for the GW. Once these lengths are installed, you would cut to final standard playing length from the butt. There really is no standard playing length, but industry average "standard" playing length for a 7 iron would be 37", 36.5" for the #8 iron, 36" for the #9 iron, 35.5" for the PW iron. The GW, depending on the head weight and personal preference, could be played at the same length as the PW, or progressed by 1/2" shorter to 35".
