Lamkin Perma Wrap Golf Grips is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel and wear I have been using these for years. They wear like iron, feel great with minimal wear. I get 3 times the wear compared to most grips. They have a sticky feel and the midsized are great for people with larger hands, like mine. These are a great value, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Tacky I replaced the original hard rubber grips on my Ping i3 irons with these soft and tacky grips in 2008. They show little signs of wear, and for the best part, I have done away wearing gloves since the switch. Well worth for what they cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Remains tacky and very durable Put this on my Ping BeCu Eye 2 Irons maybe 20 yrs ago and they are still tacky and perfect to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best quality in a wrap grip, PERIOD !!! I used leather wrap grips back in the 1970's, and this is the absolute closest to them as there is ! I've tried the 2nd generation Golf Pride Tour Wrap when they came out years ago, but they really SUCK ! Once you break through the shiny outer surface, they lose their stickiness & tackiness. That never happens to a LAMKIN GRIP !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A classic that still works great! Have tried a number of grips over the years. Most come and go on the market. This one was good when it was introduced (whenever that was) and is still better than most. It feels great in your hands, holds tight, and looks great. That never goes out of style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great customer service and quality product!!!! Title says it all - I've probably had 30+ orders w/ Golfworks in the past 6-7 years (since golfsmith lost my business) and it's always a pleasant experience. My only complaint is the time it takes for my product to come from Ohio to Texas lol

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Buy The Lamkin Permawrap grip is the most durable grip on the market. With regular scrubbing, these last a long time and hold their tackiness.

A couple of local clubmakers have told me that Lamkin Perma Wrap grips have a straighter taper than the majority of the grips on the market. First of all, what does this mean, and secondly, is this true?

Asked by: Jergy
I am not sure what they mean by straighter taper. To me they have what I would call a normal taper that we are use to seeing on most grips. Grips like the Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G have less taper which makes them larger under the lower hand them what we would call a normal grip.

What is the difference between the Perma Wrap and the Perma Ace Wrap?

Asked by: Larz
According to Lamkin, the Ace is manufactured from an Advanced Cohesive Elastomer, which an exclusive synthetic polymer material. it is described as tackier and slightly softer than the standard rubber compounds. The Perma Wrap is made of a DJ9 rubber compound. So, the Ace would have a slightly softer feel, based on their descriptions.

I want a soft grip, because of arthritic hands. I have been using Winn Excell grips witch are soft and tacky.

Asked by: Rsqd
The Winn Excel are still a best seller, especially for players like you with arthritic hands. The PTP is a fine grip, but it is not as soft as the Winn Excel. The Golf Pride CP2 Wrap (midsize or Oversize) or the Avon Chamois grips (standard or oversize) are used as well by players with arthritic hands.
