will the epoxy I use to glue heads on shafts work for extensions as well as the max strength extension epoxy?
Most golf club specific epoxy will sufficiently hold extensions in place. The big risk with using standard shafting epoxy is that it is more brittle than the extension epoxy. A small build up of epoxy usually occurs inside the shaft when installing an extension. A build up of brittle epoxy can break loose and potentially cause a rattle in the shaft. The extension epoxy is somewhat flexible when cured and is not brittle which will help prevent the epoxy from breaking loose inside the shaft creating rattles. If you decide to use standard golf club epoxy be careful not to use too much. You just want to lightly "butter" the extension before inserting it into the golf shaft.
