The GolfWorks Brass Adaptor Shims

These shims are the perfect answer to your shaft installation headaches. Easy to use, they center the shaft in the bore perfectly and create a maximum bond between the shaft and the hosel. Each pack comes with 5 shims.

The GolfWorks Brass Adaptor Shims is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brass Shim For Orlimar 420 I used the brass shim to replace the shaft on an Orlimar Hip Ti 420. I had to use two shims as the hosel was .370. It worked great. the driver feels solid when hit.

BRASS SHIMS What is the difference between Product Code Shim 15 and Product Code T? ?I would imagine both are .015 in size, is that correct?

Asked by: Insidetheleather
The SHIM 15 is for shimming .335" tip diameter wood shafts into .350" hosel bores. The SHIM T is for shimming .355" taper tip iron shafts into .370" hosel bores. .355" taper tip iron shafts will only be .355" at the very tip end of the shaft and taper out to be approximately .370" where the shaft exits the top of the hosel so the SHIM T is a little shorter then the SHIM 15 because the taper tip shaft will be centered at the top of the hosel because of it's increased diameter.

I need a shim for a 335 shaft tip to fit a 370 hosel. Do you have this size shim?

Asked by: Sanddog
The SHIM 30 will work for shimming the .335" into the .370" hosel bore.

I'm also looking for a solution for installing a .335 shaft in a .370 hosel. The previous answer to use the Shim 30 looks odd to me. The description of that shim does not show that it handles a .335 shaft. Shouldn't the right answer be a Shim 65?

Asked by: MarkM
The SHIM30 is the correct answer here. If you have a .335" shaft and add .030" (SHIM30) to .335" you get .365" into a .370". If you add .065" (SHIM65) to .335" you get .400" which will not go into .370". I have assembled .335" shafts into .370" hosel bores using the SHIM30 and it worked well.
