Brass Tip Weight Plugs

These are the same tip weights that major manufacturers use for final swingweighting. Simply slide into position in the shaft tip, verify final swingweight and epoxy the shaft into position. Available for steel iron and wood shafts and graphite shafts. Packaged in dozen. Reusable.

Do you have these brass weights in .355 tip?

Asked by: Drewll
Sorry, we do not offer any tip weights for .355" shafts. You don't really want to add tip weights to taper tipped golf shafts. The tip weights will extend the length of the shaft tip making the fit inside the hosel too loose. It is better to use tungsten or lead powder along with a cork to add weight when dealing with a .355" hosel bore diameter. Another option would be to use lead tip weights and simply cut the head off the soft lead weight. You can then epoxy the lead weight into the shaft tip without extending the shaft tip length.

I currently have C-Taper Lite shafts from KBS. They are .355, will the steel wood tip brass plugs work? I don't see a .355 in steel only available.?

Asked by: acaslow
Yes you would use the .335" steel shaft wood weights for .355" taper tip iron shafts.

I am changing steel shafts to graphite on my irons and their seems to be one of these on the 5 Iron only. Should I get one for the graphite shaft as well? Irons are Mizuno JPX 850.

Asked by: Brownie14
Chances are you will need a tip weight for the graphite shaft as well except you will need the weight for the graphite shaft, which is different then the weight for the steel shaft. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=SITW2 You could also use a lead weight instead of the brass weight. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=GW0105&green=4EF70C89-182E-5EFB-B1B3-34B789E511ED

For .355" taper tip shafts you use the .335" steel wood shaft weights in either brass or lead.
