The Maltby Design Golf Club Swingweight Scale

The “industry standard” golf club scale designed by Ralph Maltby. This Golf Club Scale measures swingweights using the industry standard 14” fulcrum principle which provides direct swingweight readings (C8, D2, etc.). Scale markings are large, easy to read, and are printed on both sides of the Scale, so readings can be taken from either side. By placing any club in the resting cradle, this Scale also measures total club weight. Permanently mounted parts tray measures the weight of individual components. Weights can be read in grams and ounces. The Scale has a bubble-level indicator and adjustable feet to ensure accurate readings no matter what surface it's on. A modern gray/black protective finish completes the professional quality of this unit. Each scale is precision machined, assembled by hand, calibrated in our factory, and then shipped to you in a specially designed, protective carton. A calibration plate certifies the accuracy of each scale. When you purchase the Ralph Maltby Golf Club Scale, you are buying a precision instrument that will reward you with a lifetime of use.

Please Note: Additional shipping charges required due to weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works exactly as described! Great product! I had a previous model form another provider and this machine is by far more superior! Great for anyone wanting to "fine tune" your clubs to a precise swing weight

I just purchased a used 14" direct reading swingweight scale, performed the calibration check procedure provided in your online 'instructions' for operation of the unit. I put the weight on 0 (zero) and the fulcrum did NOT move. How do I calibrate unit?

Asked by: LesJ
Hey, JimY, thanks! ?I do have the hanging tray and installed it into the end of the scale fulcrum - still no movement to balance on 0 (zero). ?I'll look for the allen screw; any particular kind of 'lead powder' I should put into the chamber and how much should I put in at one time? ?The alternative of sending back to GW - what address to return to, and what information is required with the shipment and what kind of packing is recommended?

I purchased a used 14'' direct reading swing weight machine it has no moveable counter weight to measure swing weight how or where do I purchase one?

Asked by: don finch
My guess is that the swingweight scale you bought is our NESC. You can look on our website to verify. If it is, the part number for the weight is NESCP01. The SWRM Deluxe swingweight scale's weight is welded on, not a loose weight, so I am assuming you do not have the SWRM.

It is really quite easy to step up and use. It comes with a 2 year warranty from the date of purchase for any manufactures defects. We manufacture the scale here at our facility here in Newark, OH. Here is a link for the instruction pace that comes with the scale. It should be helpful.

What is the golf club scale grip tray & what does it look like?

Asked by: James
The grip tray is a thin piece of metal formed to fit over the butt end of the scale. It allows you to check swingweight without the grip being installed. There is picture on The Golfworks website. You can not see the piece itself very well in the picture, but you can see how it works.
