Rated 5 out of 5 by from great value I tried this ball this past weekend as a winter ball. My normal ball is the rx. I compared this one to the e6. This one behaves like the e6 but it is a little easier to shape side to side. It launches higher than the rx and putts similarly. It chips like the e6 with a hair firmer feel. First competitive round on Sunday I tied my career low in my mens club with a 64 (par 72, slope 125 course). You should have seen the looks in the restaurant when they found out I did it with a top flite! I will play this ball until the greens become too firm then return to the rx.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Ball I'm a 14 to 16 handicapper and have always played with whatever ball was on sale. I read about the Gamer in Golf Digest's Hot List and they were highly rated and inexpensive so I had to try them. I'm amazed how much spin I can get out of the ball. I have never been able to get a ball to stop on the green like these. A great ball at a great price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Golf balls at a reasonable price. I like the Top Flite Gamer Soft golf balls and couldn't find any at local stores. GolfWorks not only had the balls in stock, they had the lowest price available, and shipping was free. Two days later I once again had my favorite golf ball in hand. Thank You GolfWorks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Golfball for the Winter season Great golf ball to play with when the weather gets cold and leaves cover the edges of the golf course. Lacks spin around the greens but at 1/3 the cost of most premier golf balls - learn to let it roll out a little more and save your cash.

How good are thes balls comparison to noodles golf balls

Asked by: Straight shooter lol
The Top Flite Gamer golf ball is a very good golf ball for the price. I would expect it to be similar to the Noodle Long and Soft golf ball.

Compare Top Flite Gamer Soft with Cally Chrome Soft, Bstone e5/RX, TM Proj A. Would Gamer Soft be a better choice for a senior w/ a slow swing speed, looking for more distance/control off tee, but one hop + stop spin for pitch + chip shots at a low cost?

Asked by: Leon
The Top-Flite Gamer Soft is a little softer feeling than the Project A and the E5/RX. The Callaway Chrome Soft is significantly softer in feel. Obviously the spin for each ball is relative to how steep or how much you trap the ball around the greens and also the condition of the greens. I consider the Gamer Soft to have adequate spin around the greens especially compared to other balls in mid to low price point category.

When ?the term "low compression" is used why not just say what the compression. ?Is low 30 or 85? ?It just seems something is trying to be hidden.

Asked by: Ric G
Good question for the ball companies. With todays technology and materials, compression is not as tide to player type and performance as it was back in the wound ball days. That may be why no compression numbers are assigned to most balls anymore.
