I have a supertri TP from a rep with hotmelt and a Txxx serial and it has this exact same red tip, with a TP logo on it as well. Will this adapter work? What size tip? Should I just take it to the shop?

Asked by: paulson3t
The SuperTri had a separate adaptor and it was different then the TM0016 and it was not Red. We no longer stock the SuperTri adaptor. If the SuperTri you have has this adaptor then you might have something that was different. From the information we have the TM0016 should not fit the SuperTri. So it will be up to you whether or not you place an order to see if it will fit. We have the TM0016 in a .335" size only.

Will this work for a Taylormade FCT Rescue LH Hybrid?

Asked by: JK Golf
No this will not work for the Hybrid. The Hybrid uses a .370" tip diameter shaft and this adaptor is for a .335" tip diameter wood shaft. The only Taylor Made Hybrid adaptor we have these days is the TM0020 and if you have the R11 FCT Rescue this adaptor will not fit. If it would fit a RH adaptor can be used in a LH club but the markings will read opposite.

We no longer have an adaptor sleeve that fits the Taylor Made R1 FCT Rescue and in checking with Taylor Made they no longer manufacturing them. None of the other Taylor Made adaptors that we have will fit the R11 FCT Rescue.

Will this sleeve fit and original R9 (430cc)?driver, and make the secure click noise that the stock adapter makes? I have used other OEM shaft adapters?and they don't click using the torque wrench and screw strips on impact of the first or second drive.?

Asked by: JMcPhail31

Is there any 'special' way to insert a new shaft into the adaptor sleeve on a driver? Writing on the shaft to the front, back, side, or lined up with the STD LOFT indicator? Thanks.

Asked by: dougie
You do need to align the shaft for the correct setting that you will be using when the adaptor is installed into the clubhead but other then that where you align the graphics on the shaft is up to you. If you had the shaft Pured it could cause you to install the shaft with the graphics in a specific position. Shafts do not come Pured from the shaft manufacture. http://www.golfworks.com/article.asp?ai=495&eid=SSTPURE
