Grafalloy ProLaunch Red Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Please beyond expectation The last two shafts I have used snapped with less than 5 rounds and practice sessions. Prolite 35 in my Taylor Made 510 at 7.5 gave me 315 to 340 but lasted three rounds before snapping. Javlnfx 83 got me through 7 rounds before the torque went haywire. ProLaunch Red has gotten me through 15 rounds of Golf with no noticable differance in performance. I am no longer standing on the tee box wondering if the club will survive another swing. Well done Grafalloy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jeff I just installed a red stiff in my 10.5 R9 SuperTri. I was also concerned that this shaft would launch the ball too low...not so at all. I swing about 95-100 mph and would agree that the initial lauch seemed actually just as high as my V2 but flattened out and carried father with the roll. I'm thinking of playing the V2 in softer conditions and the Red with firmer fairways. That is what is so cool about interchangable shafts! Right now after 1 round with the red....I am a big fan!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome shaft WOW! I just reshafted my old Z9 10.5 driver with this shaft in a stiff flex with amazing results. After having tried a few different head/shaft combinations, I think I finally found the perfect combo. This is definitely the longest and STRAIGTEST that I have ever hit the ball. I swing between 95-100, and I was worried at first that this shaft would be too stiff and produce a lower than desired ball flight. Quite the contrary. I find this shaft has a better feel than others I've played. It loads beautifully, and doesn't feel whippy at all. It actually produced a higher initial launch angle than the mid launch Saber shafts I have been using the past few years. The flight flattens out and carries forever. I'm totally sold. All I do is line it up and the ball goes directly down my intended line. I didn't know driving could be this easy! Great product!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love the blue hate the red I've had the Pro Launch Blue in several clubs and loved it. The Red definitely delivers a lower trajectory but a very consitant fade sometimes a slice. The blue I hit a nice draw very easily with. The Red I have a hard time turning over and seem to have a lot less feel. If you hook the ball and want a lower trajectory this would be a very good shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's all in the shaft Tried the Ping G10 with the prolaunch red 10.5 regular and 9 degree. The 10.5 is got a nice launch angle and so forgiving even on off centre hits. My driver distance is normally 220-240m. But with this club, I think it will go 240-250m. Tried it on the range with 80deg compression balls, and went 220m without roll. Well done graffaloy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Upgrade I wanted to test out the high loft number, low launching shaft combo so acquired a 12 degree Cleveland Classic head and shafted it with this amazing piece of science. The first shot ever with it was straight as an arrow and long! As I got more sure of its feel and characteristics, I started letting loose and was putting ball after ball out to the furthest flag from the range tees. After running out of range balls, it was time to hit the course. First driver hole--dead straight to 289. This is a number probably 25+ yards further than the stock AMP driver I was gaming. The second driver hole saw me going 305 with ease. I hit 5 more that first time out over 280. Finally, on a downhill shot with a hint of breeze behind me, I put one out 323, only 20 yards from the green. Simply put, this shaft is an aniimal, and you do NOT have to try to get it powered up. It seems the easier I transitioned at the top, the better the ball flew. Dispersion is amazi

I'm looking to build a driver that lowers ball spin. ?I loved the ProLaunch Red when I had it on my Ping G5. ?Now I want an adjustable head driver with the ProLaunch Red shaft. ?Can you recommend any driver heads that would complement this shaft?

Asked by: cree
In our product line we have our KE4 St-A1 Driver that is adjustable and certainly could match well with the ProLaunch Red shaft. This driver is offered in 9.5 and 10.5 degrees. http://www.golfworks.com/search.asp?ss=ma0227&x=0&y=0

i use a titlist R11 regular shaft, and need senior shaft

Asked by: Jaspac
The Grafalloy ProLaunch Red is not available in a Senior flex (A flex). I would suggest looking at the Xcaliber 6 in an A flex. We get very good feedback from this shaft. http://www.golfworks.com/search.asp?ss=as0019&x=0&y=0

Is the grafalloy prolaunch red for a driver only or can I put it in my 4 wood?

Asked by: MikeB
The ProLaunch Red can be installed into a 4 wood with no problems. The recommended tip trimming for installation into a 4 wood be be to cut 3/4" from the tip.

I use a G25 Ping driver with a TFC 189 SR flex.I am looking for a Grafalloy shaft which could add distance. What is your recommendation ? Thank you. K.Homan

Asked by: Keith
We do not have the specifications of the Ping shaft, so it is difficult to know what kind of change might help with distance. It is important to realize that overall weight and club length will have the most affect on distance. So, if distance is the main goal, you should go with the lightest shaft possible and the longest playing length that you can and still hit solid a good percentage of the time for your ability. Graffaloy Pro Launch 45 in the A flex might be worth a try. Again, we do not know the specs of the Ping shaft, so the difference in it and the specs of the PL 45 is unknown.
