Project X Graphite Wood Shaft Specifications

Project X Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shaft I bought this shaft to reduce the spin rate of my drives from almost 4000 rpm to about 3000rpm. I love how this shaft releases at the right moment but I hooked the ball with my Titleist 910 D3 in the draw setting. I changed it to a neutral setting and now my drive went from 255 yds( Diamana Ahina shaft) to 275 plus yds (Project X 6.5). Fix your swing, get your numbers, find the right shaft for you.

I'm using a Taylor Made R11 9-degree driver. When ordering a shaft from Golf Works, do you add the proper tip so I can just remove my old shaft and add the new one? I'd like to get a shaft as close to the X-6A4 as possible.?

Asked by: TMCnews
The Rll shaft adaptor can be installed to whatever shaft you order. You would need to order the shaft, the adaptor and request the adaptor to be installed. The cost would be the price of the shaft, the adaptor and an installation charge of $10.00. You would need to indicate what position you would want the adaptor (Neutral, Closed, Open etc.). If you want the adaptor installed, the shaft cut to playing length and a grip installed, the cost would be the price of the shaft, adaptor, grip and an installation charge of $16.95.

I am looking into project x 5.0 graphite shafts for my woods. Is a pxv shaft that came stock in a cobra fairway wood and was removed different from the latest fairway wood graphite project x 5.0 you have available on your site?

Asked by: Seeking proper shaft flex
Generally the stock shaft, such as this shaft in the Cobra, will play a little more flexible and have a little higher torque then the shaft in our catalog.

What is the more common way to say what flex a 5.5 shaft is?

Asked by: don 59
5.5 would be considered a standard S flex.

What is the flex of a 5.0 shaft, a 5.5 shaft, and a 6.0 shaft?

Asked by: don 59
The 5.0 would be considered a firm R flex. The 5.5 is considered a standard S flex. 6.0 is considered a firm S flex.
