Purchased this shaft because of its ulta-light weight, low kick point, to be used with a R11 head. The combination of the head and shaft went well for 3 round. However, in the 4th round of golf, the shaft (Regular)"snapped" into two pieces(???? defect?. I suspect that the shaft cannot stand-up under a heavy swing torgue.

Smooth is Fast

Finally have found distance through height. I have been a very low ball player for years and have finally found a shaft that launches high and piercing. The lighter shaft took less than a round to gain confidence in and my launch angle climbs steadily without ballooning what so ever. I had Golf Works completely customize this shaft from tip to grip so that it came ready for my R11S head. I received on Friday and put it into play that weekend! I have a 105 Driver swing speed and went with the Stiff flex. The shaft feels very smooth even when I rip one. I would have no issues recommending this shaft for those looking to go lighter and higher!

Getting old is definitely fun. Lot of changes including experiencing the change from stiff shafts/long yardage to senior type play. I dropped the ego and tried the sub 50 gram DRIVER shaft (Booyah/Grafalloy)to start with at a reasonable affordable price. Love it. My old driver length was 44 inches. I got the Booyah shaft at 45 inches. Perfect. This shaft has the matching flex at 45 inches. I dont hit the ground anymore and I average approx. 230yds. carry. I lost approx. 30 yds. in the last 10 yrs. but I can consistently hit the fairway at 230 yds. carry w/this shaft. Still got the ego too because I can feel this shaft bend. Guess i got the right tempo at the shafts rated high torque. And yes, thats how the +60 yrs old type goes. And yes, "its better than the rest (at $40).Read More Reviews
