Project X 95 Flighted Shaft Specifications

Project X 95 Flighted Steel Iron Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good shaft Put this shaft into x forged head with great results. Much better feel than the stock pxi shaft. Experimented with different flexes to get the one that best suited. The small amount of extra weight than other lightweight steel shafts that I have used gave me slightly higher swingweight and helped with feel distance and control. Highly recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Never got along w/ Px shafts - too harsh. But got to hit this in 6.0 combined with Callaway X Hot and X Hot pro heads. Wow, this shaft is the real deal. It wants to be swung and be used. Nice feel too! Px, IMO, plays a little stout, so check your ego and get the right flex.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Project x95 I used these shafts with the adams cb2 heads all last season. Fantastic shaft, greatly helped my accuracy, distance was the same as previous shaft. Feel, to me was fantastic, a lot of people will say that project x shaft feel harsh. The px95 did not feel harsh at all.

What shaft make would you recommend to replace an Project X 5.0 in Ben Hogan Apex Plus Forged Irons?

Asked by: Garry Bear
Other light weight steel shafts you might look at would be the True Temper XP95, http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_TT0101 or the Nippon N.S. Pro 950GH. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_NP0012

How would these Project X 5.0 Rifle Shafts fit into Forged Hogan Apex Plus Iron Heads? I now have the Apex 3 original Shafts & am thinking the - 20 plus grs. lighter & more flex as I'm slowing down on my swing speed with age?

Asked by: Garry Bear
The Project X 95 Flighted shafts will fit into your Hogan Apex Plus Iron heads. They are lighter weight then the stock Hogan Apex shafts and probably a little more flexible but not a lot. The lighter weight may help you as much as anything.

I have the Project X 95 Flighted 6.0 shafts in my Callaway Apex irons and need to replace a broken shaft in my 5 iron. What are the alternatives?

Asked by: JoeO
In checking our computer it shows we have the Project X 95 Flighted for a 5 iron (39" raw length) in a 5.5 and 6.5 flex but we do not have the 6.0 left in stock. It shows we have 1 each of these left in stock. I did check to see if we might have the 6 or 4 iron shaft in the 6.0 but no luck. Other then this the Project X even though it is heavier would most match the playing characteristics. The Project X PXi most closely matches based on weight. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_TT0098

Asked by: JoeO
The Project X 95 shafts have been discontinued by True Temper. We have updated the website to show what options are still in stock. All 6.0's are now out of stock.

Are you not going to be carrying this shaft? I am seeing the supply go down on the 5.5 and others.

Unfortunately hte Project X 95 Flighted shafts are a discontinued item from the vendor so we will no longer be able to stock them.

What is regular flex and what is senior flex

Asked by: fred c
Royal Precision references a 5.0 flex as an R+ flex. 4.5 would have been there R flex which they no longer offer and they do not offer a Senior flex in the Project X steel shaft line.
