I have this shaft for the Tour Grind Wedge - I am really a firm flex I believe - if I tip the shaft half way between the R an S will that play as a firm?

Asked by: Drowe2817
If you define "Firm" as in between the R and the S, then yes, you can trim the shaft in between the R and S to create a firm flex. It might also be considered a Firm R or a Soft S when you trim in between the standard R and S.

Will the Score .370 fit into Callaway Apex pro irons?

Asked by: billsang
The Apex Pro Irons use a .355" taper tip shaft. You would have to have the heads reamed or rebored to accept the .370" Score LT shafts. GolfWorks charges $9.95 per clubhead to ream or rebore the hosels.

How does this shaft compare, launch angle and weight wise to the old Score stepless shaft? Thanks

Asked by: RobA
The original stepless Score was a little heavier at 123 grams at 40" where the Score LT is 117 grams at 41". Having hit both of these I would tell you that the launch angles are probably quite similar.

Is the Score LT Shaft a Uniflex Shaft? has this shaft been used in other OEM clubs?

Asked by: drowe2817
The Score LT was used by one of the major manufactures and probably was used as a Uniflex shaft. We have been using it as a combination flex with very good success. Testing and feedback from the 2 flexes has been very good and testing of the individual flexes shows they play true to that flex.

How will the higher launch impact the carry distance? Will this shaft perform same as TT Lite?

Asked by: drowe2817
I have not found that this shaft produces a real high launch angle. The Score LT plays truer to flex then the TT Lite XL. The TT Lite XL iron shafts have always tested and played stiffer then normal. I find similar ball flight with the two shafts but prefer the feel from the Score LT.

Can this shaft be used with a rescue club head? Really don't want to spend a lot of money. Thank You.

Asked by: high handicapper
Yes, as long as the hosel the rescue club is .370" the Score shaft will work. It is 41" long so the length will not be an issue.

Will they fit Cleveland CGI irons

Asked by: CharlieV
We have the CGI irons listed as a .355 hosel diameter. The Score shafts are .370, so they would fit the CGI irons without boring out the irons to .370.
