Dynamic Gold XP Spec sheet

True Temper Dynamic Gold XP95 Steel Iron Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from good feel I received these 2 weeks and resifted AP1 irons. much lighter with good feel at impact. Did not balloon but was a nice high trajectory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shafts! I bought these a month ago. I previously had the XP 105 in my clubs. I think these XP 95 are a little swing weight for each club went down 1 to 2 swing weights so I am able to swing the club a little quicker and more consistently now. Also the XP 95 has a little higher ball flight which is what I was looking for....easy to order and put together. Very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Higher flight I've played them for a month in my 5 iron - PW, and couldn't be happier. My swing speed with driver is around 85 mph, and I was looking for more height and distance with the irons. These shafts have performed as advertised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shafts! I switch from KBS tour shafts to the XP95's and couldn't be more pleased with the performance. Put these shafts in my Titleist CB's and haven't looked back.

What are the differences between this new model XP 95 and the discontinued Project X 95 flighted? ?Thanks.

Asked by: dje4msu
The Project X Flighted would play stiffer then the XP95 in the same flex. Our profile test data shows the XP95 S300 having the same butt frequency as the Project X Flighted 5.0. The Project X Flighted 6.0 is stiffer in all the zones we tested compared to the XP95 S flex. The XP95 is designed for a higher ball flight and the Project X 95 Flighted for more of a flighted controlled ball flight. Not as high as the XP95.

I have a set of Ping G5 irons with CS Lite shafts, R flex. I'm looking to purchase your Tricept MG Tech Wedges and want the shafts to mirror my G5's. The XP 95 (R flex) appears to be that shaft from my research, am I correct? Or, do you see better option?

Asked by: ChrisC
The XP-95 would be a good choice. You will have to shim the .355" taper tip XP95 shaft to fit the .370" parallel tip hosel bore of the Tricept MG Tech Wedge. Our SHIMT works well for this. The other shaft I might recommend would be the Nippon N.S. Pro 950GH (NP0011) and this shaft is available in a .370" parallel tip.

I have a set of Mizuno JPX 850 irons with XP105 regular shafts. I think they might be too heavy since I have gone from graphite irons to steel Would I benefit to change to a XP 95 Regular?

Asked by: Billy Boy
Especially if you are going from a lightweight graphite shafts in the 70 gram weight range these certainly could feel heavy. The XP95 should be a little better.

do iron shafts cut precut to length.......i want to order a wedge shaft but want 1/2 long. no i need to order the 9 shaft or just the wedge and cut.....

Asked by: jerger
The shafts do not come cut to a finished length. In the case of the XP95 you would order the 36.5" shaft and once the shaft is installed it would need to be cut to the finished length you want. You can request a Shaft Prep when you order the shaft and we can pre cut it for the finished length for your wedge as well as prepare the tip for proper installation. There is an additional charge of $4.95 for this service.

No. True Temper does not manufacture the XP95, 105 or 115 in a .370" parallel tip version.

can you put vibration dampening into this shaft if so what is the cost?

Asked by: straka99
True Temper does not recommend using the Sensicore with the XP Series of shafts. (XP95, 105 or 115) The Sensicore can create a shear point with the lighter weight steel alloy used to manufacture these shafts.

hello,i want to buy a complete set of the xp 95 s300 shafts for my 712 titleist mb irons, which lengths do i need and what prep do i need with my order so they will be ready for installation when they arrive... pureing, tip and butt trimming, tip prepping

Asked by: giovanni
At this link where you place your order it tells you which raw length is needed for each iron. You can request a shaft prep so that they will be tip sanded and butt cut them for your finished lengths. If you would like to have the shaft Pured you would need to request that as well. For Puring check the Puring box and tell us Right or Left hand in the drop down box. For shaft prep check the tip and butt trimming box and they will sand the tips and butt cut to your finished lengths. You will see the puring and shaft prep boxes at the bottom of the shaft ordering boxes at this link. At Checkout in the Special Notes box tell us what finished lengths you want for these irons.
