Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue 45 Graphite Wood Shaft is rated 4.75 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blue 65gram X-Flex I have a 105mph swing speed and am a 9 handicap 38 years old. I put this shaft in a 2007 Burner 9.5 degree head cut down to a total club length of 44 inches. The results have been nothing short of greatness. I usually play a stiff flex but with the softer tip and lower bendpoint I figured the X-Flex would be just right and I was correct. The low torque was important to me as well and there are few shafts with a flexible tip and low bendpoint that offer a torque rating at 2.8 usually they will be closer to 4 if not higher. The low torque really cutdown sidespin making hooks and slices pretty hard to pull off now if I mishit or overswing the result is more of a push fade or slight hook. If I hammer it I can get it out there around 280-300 without fear of excessive spin. I highly recommend this shaft to ppl that like a livelier shaft with low torque. I would recommend ppl to try one flex stiffer in this shaft unless you really need help getting the ball up or have a really smooth transiti

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Prolaunch blue I really enjoy This shaft in my driver. It has cut down on my slice and allows me to "swing for the green" on all my drives. I recomend it to the hard swingers out there like me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best for my swing I use a Ping K15 driver and have tried probably 10 different lightweight shafts in it to determine which was the best for my slower more controlled swing (about 85mph). This shaft won hands down both on the Launch Monitor and in play. Averaged 10 yards more per drive than the Miyazaki, Aldila, Graphite Design, Fujikura, Matrix and Aerotech lightweight shafts. Highly recommend for the slower swinging golfers. Great price too!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best I've hit Replaced Fujikura shaft in my TM Burner driver.Had a feeling my good drives should have been longer.I was right ,now at least 15-20 metres longer on best drives.Great feel also. Can't wait for the summer golf.

Can the Grafalloy ?pro launch blue 45 "R" flex ?shaft be tip trimmed to fit a 3 and 5 fairway woods?

Asked by: nixter
With only a 2" parallel tip section length, there is not much room to do any progressive tip trimming. Assuming the bore depth of the 3 and 5 wood heads you have is 1.5", it would only leave .5" to trim. With a 1.5" bore depth, you could trim 1/4" for the 3 wood, and 1/2" for the 5 wood. True Temper recommends no tip trimming.

I am trying to match a Graffalloy prolaunch blue 55R .335... Is the 45R pretty close match? What would you suggest?

Asked by: Michael Sweet
Either the 45 or the 65 ProLaunch Blue would have the same playing characteristics, but be the different weights. The "45" shafts run from 44 grams to 48 grams, depending on the flex and the "65" shafts are listed at 64 grams for all flexes. If the weight difference is not something you are concerned about, either could be a match for the 55.

looking for the 'hybrid' grafallloy pro launch blue.....discontinued...???

Asked by: mickey1
The only Pro Launch Blue hybrid shaft still available is the Pro Launch Blue SC: The original Pro Launch Blue iron shaft is also available and would perform perfectly in a .370" hybrid.
