Will the odyssey double bend replacement shaft fit in a nike method core 04 mc04w putter.?

Asked by: dsaxton23
No the Odyssey double bend replacement shaft will not work on the nike method core 04 MC04W putter. Odyssey putters that use a double bend shaft do not use a 90 degree bore angle or over the post angle so their double bend shaft is different then what is used by other companies. The TT1002P double bend shaft should work well for this Nike putter. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=TT1001P

Will this shaft fit a YES putter, Natalie model, center shaft? Thanks

Asked by: Billbart
The Yes Natalie Putter uses a straight putter shaft not a double bend. It would use a shaft like the TT0001P or any straight .370" tip diameter putter shaft. The Odyssey replacement putter shaft will not work with the Yes Natalie putter. We do not offer a double bend putter shaft that will work with the Yes Natalie putter. If you wanted one we could do a custom bend shaft for you.

I am making a wooden-head putter - first time doing this. ?It is a mallet style. ?I will be adding a grip to the shaft, but I do not know if I need "tip & butt trimming," or "tip prepping." ?Can you give me some direction with this? ?Thank you.

Asked by: rabbibigal
With a double bend putter shaft there would be no tip trimming. You would sand the tip, install the shaft can cut to the finished length from the butt end. Be aware if your putter head has a 90 degree bore the Odyssey TT204102 shaft will not work. Odyssey putters do not use a 90 degree bore. With a 90 degree bore you would want a shaft like the TT1002P. http://www.golfworks.ca/product.asp?pn=TT1001P

I have a Odyssey 772 putter and need a 35 inch shaft. Is that something you have??

Asked by: ksm0226
The TT204102 is the replacement shaft you need. Once the shaft is installed into the putter you will then cut the shaft from the grip end for the finished length of 35". You can request a shaft prep service with your order and we can cut and prepare the shaft for you before we ship it to you.

Would this work for a arm lock putter?

Asked by: cliford31
Odyssey tells me they call the Arm Lock putter shaft a single bend shaft so this would not work. The only shaft we have that might work would be the TT1000P. We should be able to do a custom bend shaft for you. To do this we would request that you send the putter head to use so we can set the shaft up correctly.

How do I remove a white hot odyssey putter shaft? ?Does Golfworks ?have the replacement shaft? ?Thanks Donnie ??

Asked by: Muddy
You want to carefully heat the shaft right where it either goes into the putter head or over a post. You can use a heat gun or torch but be careful with any face inserts of if it is a 2 ball putter be careful with the 2 balls on the top making sure not to heat to hot and damaging these inserts. It can be a good idea to cover the head with a wet cloth and leave only the area you well be heating exposed. The shaft you have here is the Odyssey replacement if you have a double bend shaft. If your putter does not use a double bend shaft then it will use a straight .370" tip diameter putter shaft and we have a number of choices that would fit. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=FS0006P http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=YST http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=AP0006
