Trimming Instructions

True Temper Dynamic Gold .370" Steel Iron Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate These shafts are the most accurate and consistant I've found. Been using them for over 20 years. I changed out my graphite shafts in my hybrid irons and woods (the hosel on my 3 wood hybrid takes a .370 diameter) for better online shots and consistant yardages. The only con is the extra wieght but the trade off for accuracy saves me a stroke or two per round!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally Well i got a shaft that works with my Maltby TE irons. If you think the X300 is a telephone pole your wrong. Med high ball flight, soft good feel with spin. I was nervous at first by thinking they would be to stiff but they are the best shaft i hit so far.

I building clubs for my grandson. He is 14 years old, just starting to play, is 5'2" tall. What steel shaft would you recommend?

Asked by: Loubo
I would suggest steel shafts like the FST 90, FST 115, True Temper Multi-Step and True Temper Score LT. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=FS0011 http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=FS0012 http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=TT0061 http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=TT0100

I need a 7 iron shaft for a Mizuno MP 19 forged cavity head. The original shaft is a True Temper Dynamic Gold Sensicore S 300 flex. What would be the closest shaft you stock to those specs and can you provide the Sensicore insert for myPro to install.

Asked by: kennythestinger
In checking our computer I find that we still have some Dynamic Gold S300 with Sensicore shafts still available. You will need the .355" taper tip which is the shaft shown at this link. You want the 38" S300 which is also marked for the #7. The Mizuno MP-19 irons use a .355" taper tip shaft. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_DGSI

I'm looking for a good steel shaft for a #4 Ben Hogan Edge C.F.T. Hybrid with a .370 hosel. The club will end up at 39.5" long. I'm not sure as yet if this club will be regular or stiff flex. Please advise a good shaft for me. Thank you

Asked by: Minnow
Any .370" parallel tip iron shaft could work well. You might want to try and match the weight and specifications to the shafts in your irons. The stock Apex shafts used by the Hogan Company for years were in the 118 gram weight range. Dynamic Gold is heavier but could still work well as long as the shaft fits you. KBS does offer a steel hybrid shaft which could also work well. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=FS0020 You would follow the tip trimming for a 4 iron.

My swing speed with my 7 iron is 111 mph and is faster with my low irons. I have the project x 6.0 s in my Calloway forged irons. What are the stiffest shaft available?

Asked by: Mike007
Project X can be special ordered in 7.0 frequency. True Temper has X1 shafts and X3 shafts can be special ordered.

i need the steel shaft tip size for aTaylor Made super Steel Burner iron set.

Asked by: Turk
Our shaft replacement guide indicates that the Super Steel irons have a .395 hosel bore. You could install the .370 shafts into your heads but you would need to use an adaptor/shim which is code SADI to make them fit properly.

Difference in ball flight/swing speed between r400 & s200

Asked by: JFKme
There is more to determining the flex than just swing wpeed, but based on swing speed, if your 5 or 6 orin clubhead speed is approximately 65 to 75 mph, you would most likely fall into an R flex. If your 5 or 6 iron clubhead speed is approximately 75 to 85, you would fall into a S flex. If you are simply comparing the shafts at one particular clubhead speed, generally the R400 would produce a higher ball flight than the S200 shaft, based strictly on the flex of the shaft.

Does the Dynamic Gold .370 R400 or the Dynamic Gold SL R300 have the available option of the sensicore? If so what is the price?

Asked by: Conner
These days True Temper does not sell shafts with the Sensicore installed from the factory. It is only an after market product that can be purchased and installed into either of these shafts. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=TTSP
