UST Mamiya Recoil 95 Taper Iron Shafts

Finally, a revolutionary technology that will change how you think about iron shafts. UST Mamiya’s new recoil iron shafts are a game changer. In the past, heavy weight graphite iron shafts felt dead and stiff. With UST Mamiya’s exclusive recoil™ technology, we have brought feel back into the shaft, while allowing players to hit a wide range of shots that result in better distance control and pin seeking accuracy.

By positioning over 19 different layers within the shaft, we were able to create a design that outperforms the best steel shafts in the market.

  • Lightest weight option in a .355 taper tip.
  • Designed to produce efficient energy transfer for increased ball velocity and greater distance. 67% more efficient than steel.
  • Recoil™ 95 produces a medium ball flight.

UST Recoil Graphite Iron Shaft Specifications

UST Mamiya Recoil Taper Iron Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from UST 95 Recoil Taper Tip Graphite Shaft I really like the shaft, but for me it's a litle too heavy. It's perfect for someone whose played stteel shafted irons. I''m used to a lighter graphite shaft (70-75 grams.) I'm requesting the 800 Series Recoil Shaft, which UST will only sell through their Club Fitting Alliances.

Looking to buy UST Recoil Mamiya 95 for my Left-hand Titleist AP2 714 that plays 1" short from standard. ? What length shafts would I need for 5-iron thru Pitching Wedge (6 total) so I don't have to cut the shaft to length based on my measurement above?

    Asked by: Lito
The shafts will have to be cut from the butt end (grip end) for the finished length of the clubs. There is no way around that. The recommended raw length for the 5 iron is the 39.5" shaft and they progress in 1/2" increments from there. With your order you can request a shaft prep service that we offer and we will cut the shafts for the finished lengths for your clubs. There is an additional charge of $4.95 per shaft for this service. Here are the raw length shafts you would need to order. 5 iron = 39.5" 6 iron = 39" 7 iron = 38.5" 8 iron = 38" 9 iron = 37.5" PW = 37"

I'm interested in replacing the existing steel shafts in my Cleveland wedges with graphite shafts. What shaft options do you recommend and will those require .370 or .355 shafts. I just replaced my other irons shafts with UST MP 6s if that matters.

    Asked by: cdb007
The Cleveland wedges would be a .355" taper tip shaft. If you would like we could special order the UST MP6 shafts from UST with a .355" taper tip so that they will match the rest of your set. If you would like to special order the MP6 it would be best to call Customer Service at 1-800-848-8358 and they would be glad to help you. I would also recommend the Xcaliber Iron shaft (AS0028) which is available in a .355" taper tip. It can work well. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_AS0028

I'm thinking of reshafting my Vokey SM4 and SM5 wedges with either the Recoil 95 or 110. ?In the past I've usually tip trimmed my wedges to 8 iron specs. ?Which length shaft would I need for this? ?Thanks!

    Asked by: glock35ipsc
With the Recoil taper tip shafts, 95, 110 & 125 the 38" raw length shaft is the recommended shaft for the 8 iron.

what length shaft do I need to order for a 7 iron G25 ping iron. ?355 tapered, in a Recoil 95 iron shaft, R Flex, 93g

    Asked by: 06 Retired

What are the performance advantages between a tapered tip shaft in the 95g taper tip Recoils vs. the Recoil 680's? (Besides the wght diff). I currently play the KE4's w/ UST RV2 95's. Concerned about dropping down on the shaft weight to the 680's.
