Winn Golf Grip Specifications

Winn Dri-Tac Golf Grips is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favourite grips I have used these grips for more than two years. They have excellent feel and maintain reasonable grip in wet conditions. I live in a subtropical area and never use a glove. Longevity not an issue for me I play 150+ rounds per year and they last at least that long in all but the most used club(driver) which I replace after 9 mths.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Gloveless Grip I have been playing gloveless for the last 2 years since going to the Winn grip. You simply do not need to waste money on gloves using these grips. Just regrip all my clubs with the midsize grips. Hit em straigh n Hit em long all day long with these babies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Feel The Winn grips are absolutely as advertised. Butter soft with great tack and feel Wet or dry these grips perform. In today's grip market these are mid-price, but offer top shelf feel, quality and performance. Minus 1/4 star for durability, but that's just being picky. If you prefer a really firm feeling grip than these are not for you, but if want to reduce your grip pressure without sacrifice, then I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winn Dri-Tac Grips The softness takes a bit of getting used to but, once done, the Dri-Tac is an all-waether, sure winner. Very comfortable.

Are the Win Dri-Tac Golf Grips latex free? ?i have a life threatening allergy to all latex products ?

Asked by: Nancy
These grips do have latex rubber. You will see the end cap at the top of the grip and the black collar at the bottom of the grip. Those are part of an underlisting that runs the full length of the grip and is made from Latex Rubber. The colored panel wrap that you grip with your hands is latex free.

how do you fit the grip with diff grms.

Asked by: dccool
We fit the grips by size, (outside diameter) and the grips in this case that are heavier are larger in diameter, generally for players with larger hands. The lightest weight grips listed here are for Juniors or Ladies and those grips are smaller in diameter.

Regripping a Women's Taylormade R7 Draw Driver - REAX 50 shaft .600". According to TM's website, stock grip was Winn 40g grip, but my club has TM branded grip on it, so I'm not sure which grip to replace it with. Suggestions? Thank you.

Asked by: sgwalker
There is no problem regripping this driver with the Winn Grip that has a .600" core size. Even the Ladies Winn grip in this model with a .590" core size will install over the .600" butt diameter shaft. The grip will be just slightly oversize compared to a standard ladies size grip.

Re-gripping Taylor Made SLDR Hybrids and metal woods. Need to know if the .600" (Rnd) 49g 1/16 Midsize will fit the following shafts: Fujikura Speeder 57. Fujikura Speeder 65 and Fujikura Speeder 82h. Thanks and be well.

Asked by: White Tornado
The butt diamters of the shafts you list should range from .600 to no more than .620 (you can check online on the Fujikura website to see if specs for the particular shaft and flex are listed). A .600 core gripwill fit these shafts. A .600 core on a .600 shaft will yield a stadard size grip. If you put a .600 core grip on a .610 shaft, the size will be 1/64" larger than the designated size of the grip.

I have some women's grips (.590) that I would like to build up to a slightly oversized women's grip size. ?What are the options and possibilities of installing them on a standard men's club shaft?

Asked by: Brent07
You can install the .590 grips on mens shafts without a problem. If you install the .590 on, for example, a .600 or .610 butt diamter shaft, the size will be approx. 1/64" larger than the original size of the grip. If you need it larger, you can use build up tape prior to intallation.

If I go from a standard grip to a medium grip what if any differences will I experience?

Asked by: Chargers
Generally, if the midsize grip fits you better, it would allow you to grip the club with more consistent grip pressure. A more confortable grip that allows you to grip with consistnet grip pressure should yield more consitent shots. Grips should be fit based on size and feel, not just size alone.
