What does core size indicate? The grip I selected has a .60" core size, which is larger than most. Will this grip fit a standard size shaft?

A .600 core size grip is a common core size. Shaft butt diameters vary greatly. A standard size grip is created when a .600 core grip goes on to a .600 butt shaft. A .580 core grip that is installed on a .600 butt diameter shaft creats a 1/64" oversize grip, for example. On The Golfworks website in the right hand column under "Expert How to's" is a button for Grip Sizing. The information there explains all the options and how to determine grip size.
