Project X Graphite Wood Shaft Specifications

Project X Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 4.166666666666667 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shaft I bought this shaft to reduce the spin rate of my drives from almost 4000 rpm to about 3000rpm. I love how this shaft releases at the right moment but I hooked the ball with my Titleist 910 D3 in the draw setting. I changed it to a neutral setting and now my drive went from 255 yds( Diamana Ahina shaft) to 275 plus yds (Project X 6.5). Fix your swing, get your numbers, find the right shaft for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ping G30 Driver I had this particular shaft in a previous driver and was excellent so I purchased it for my Ping G30 and it appeared to have more flex than I liked. Never the less I am keeping it in case my swing speed reduces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Project X 6.0 I had played the 5.5 in two Adams hybrids and they really performed well. So, I decided to takeout the $200+ wholesale shaft and try the $59.99. It really has worked great with extra roll and flatter ball flight.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Project X Black 6.5 Ordered this shaft as an upgrade from Ping for my G 30 Driver. Not a very good shaft. I had a pro shop check the specs and they were way off. The specs worked out to be the same as a regular not stiff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great golf shaft I bought the 5.0 to replace the Project X Tour(reg) shaft on my Callaway driver and 3 wood. I am a senior golfer and wanted a little more flex in the shaft. It was the perfect change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shaft I have used the project X shafts for a few years. I'm a long time fan of Royal Shafts and very glad to see true temper company maintain the same quality.

I need to replace my imix fubuki tour reg 63  shaft for my callaway razor hawk driver.  Having trouble finding the imix shafts and need to find a shaft that matches its specs.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Asked by: Gman
A shaft like the Diamana S+ (MR0034) could match up pretty well to the older Fubuki Tour 63 Regular flex.

I have just bought a 2015 xr callway driver it came with a projectXLZ 50 Blue Graphite 4.5 light. I have been using a regular flex 55 grams. Is this new shaft to flexible for me?

Asked by: Albert
This Project XLZ 50 shaft would be made especially for Callaway and the only specifications I have would be what Callaway lists on their web site. The Lite flex is listed at 54 grams, low/mid torque, and mid kick point. Depending on which 55 gram R flex you have been playing the XLZ 50 Lite flex will likely play more flexible. The only way you will know for sure if this new shaft is to flexible for you is to hit some shots or play with this driver.

Are you going to carry the line of Project X HZRDUS shafts? Black, Yellow & Red? I am looking for both the Yellow (driver) & Red (3W)

Asked by: Chris B
So far True Temper/Grafalloy has only made the Project X Hzrdus shafts available through their PFC fitting program. I am not sure at this time if they will make them available to us to sell through our catalog and online or not. We will be having those meeting with them over the next few weeks.

have g15 ping driver will shaft fit

Asked by: allie
The G15 uses a .350" tip diameter shaft. You will need to use the BB9048 adaptor, order the .335" size, for installing the Project X shaft into the G15 driver.

I bought a used 5.5 Project X graphite shaft for my Ping G30 driver in the UK and love it and would like to purchase a similar shaft for my Bermuda G30 driver. Can you supply a trimmed 5.5 shaft with Ping adaptor and ship to Bermuda and/or ship to Boston?

Asked by: Mike B
Yes we have the Project X 5.5 (TT0115) in stock as well as the Ping (PGC002) shaft adaptor. We can ship to Bermuda or Boston. You will need to place an order for the shaft, & shaft adaptor. Tell us what length you want this driver to be and also tell use which setting in the shaft adaptor you want the shaft installed to. We install logo up unless given other instructions.

Which flex is equal to an A Flex?  Can I get a shaft that's equal to an A flex in 60 grams?  Will it fit on to a Callaway X Hot Driver? (women's)

Asked by: Luv2GLF
There is no A flex in this Project X graphite shaft. The 5.0 is actually an R+ flex. A shaft like the Xcaliber 6 RT A flex (AS0041), which is 60 grams could be a good choice and will fit the Callaway X Hot Driver.

I have a TM RBZ stage 2 fairway wood 3 15 ° can i use project X 5.5 shaft ?

Asked by: snofla
The RBZ Stage 2 3 wood used a .350" tip diameter shaft. You would need to use the BB9065 shaft adaptor to install the .335" tip diameter Project X 5.5 shaft into the RBZ Stage 2 3 wood.

Is project x 5.5 equal to regular/r flex shaft

Asked by: Coach
The 5.5 is the S flex. 5.0 is between an R and S flex and 6.0 is between an S and X flex. A 4.5 would have been the R flex.
