Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easier To Use Than I Thought I had some True Temper Speed Step 80 shafts that I wanted to use in Nike Forged Pro Combo iron heads. Used the .370 reamer bit on the heads, which are .355 diameter with no problem at all. Great purchase and saved lots of money doing it myself. Thanks GolfWorks for having the right tools for the job

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality tool This is an excellent tool to size a hosel properly. I use the reamer with a T-handle tapping tool and slowly clean out and size the hosel. Work great to remove old epoxy that a wire brush won't get or to open up an undersize hosel bore.

Is it possible to change iron head type .355 to .370 parrallel. if so with what reamer tool i need

Asked by: Sergei
Yes it is. You would use the .370" reamer that is listed at this link. http://www.golfworks.ca/spiral-fluted-reamers/p/GW0115/ It is best to do this using a drill press and Reaming & Boring Vise (RBV) http://www.golfworks.ca/reaming-and-boring-vise/p/RBV/

How long are the framers?

Asked by: Crandyl
I am not sure what you mean by framers but I took some measurements and hopefully I have gotten you the correct measurement. The square section at the top measures 3/8" long. The length of the full post including the square section measures 1 7/8". The lengths of the flutes measures 1 5/8".

I have .355 taper hosel.  can i use bit to make hosel .355?

Asked by: ragbag
If you have a .355" hosel bore iron you could use the .355" tapered reamer to clean out that hosel bore. If you are converting a .355" hosel bore to a .370" hosel bore you would use the .370" iron reamer.

Are these suitable for cleaning out the hosel of a club following pulling of the shaft?

Asked by: WPackman
They could be used for cleaning out the hosel during reshafting. Generally they are used primarily to change a hosel bore size. We generally use Wire Brushes for cleaning the hosel bores. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=GW1060 http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=gw1061

how much metal can this reamer remove and do u just use a tap handle for use

Asked by: kenny
I have personally never used this by hand with the tap handle but I am told it will work just fine. Generally with golf clubs we are not removing more then .015" of material.
