Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet Add-On 4 Big Man.. Being a 6'3" guy with "monkey" arms. These cut to 1" extension brought my new/used irons to my old irons standard. No more slicing...sweet. Note one extension does 2 irons.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Got the job done The fit was nice and snug for the most part, had one that was bent and had to repair, and another that when I test fit it, failed to line up well with the shaft. the other 8 ends were fine. for 3 bucks add an extra extension to make sure your covered. Overall still better than universal extensions I have used in the past and had one break

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed Got an incredible deal on some Mizuno irons that were brand new, but came an inch short, so the original owner traded them in. Bought the irons, removed the stock grips, which are lousy anyway, glued in the extenders and put some good grips on. New custom fit set of Mizunos for less than $160. Can't beat that

For the Titleist 714 forged combo set with KBS shafts what size would I need to order in these?

Asked by: thegreatscott12
The KBS shafts are a .600" butt diameter and you will need the S60 steel shaft extension.

I have Cobra Bio Cell irons. What size extensions would I need?

Asked by: Luke
I am assuming the shaft is the True Temper Dynalite 85, which was listed as the stock steel shaft for these irons. I do not have the butt diameter measurement for this shaft and Cobra's Customer Service did not have the information either. An educated guess tell me it would be a .600" butt diameter and use the S60 steel extension. Some of these light weight steel shaft have a larger butt diameter for structural strength and if that is the case then the Universal Extension (GW1047) would be the extension you would need. Either way, .600" butt diameter or larger, you can use the Universal Extension.

I want to extend an Odyssey Dart belly putter to long putter length. The specs of the existing grip indicate a core of .62. What extender will work best?

Asked by: Scott
Assuming that .62 core size matches up to the butt diameter of the shaft you would use the S62 steel shaft extension. http://www.golfworks.com/steel-shaft-butt-extensions/p/S60/

Can I used a .600 shaft extension in a .610 Butt diameter?

Asked by: dkissel
I have used a .600" shaft extension (S60) in a .610" butt diameter shaft but I did use Quik Center (QCSB) with my epoxy to tighten the fit and keep the extension centered. http://www.golfworks.com/the-golfworks-quick-center-shafting-beads/p/QCSB/

I have Srixon z545 with the Nippon 950, Which butt diameter fits?

Asked by: dkissel
If the shaft spec's are the same as the 950GH Nippon shafts that we sell the the butt diameter is .610" and the S60 along with some Quik Center (QCSB) mixed with your epoxy will work with the S60 extension. You could also use the Universal Extension (GW1047). Nippon manufactures shafts specifically for Srixon that could have different specifications then the Nippon shafts that we stock.

I have Nike Ignite 3 Irons with true temper shafts no idea on the size and don't want to cut the grips off to measure just yet.  Do you know what size these bad boys are?  Also do I just cut these? I want 1.5" extra.

Asked by: Justin1990
That should be a .600" butt diameter shaft and would use the S60 shaft extension. You will sand the post of the extension and also clean the inside of the shaft so that the epoxy will properly bond. Once the epoxy dries you will cut them for the length you want.
