A handy little tool to easily remove graphite shafts broken off at the hosel of wood and iron heads. This tool concept was developed by professional clubmaker Patrick Kennedy and is a real time saver. Place the Broken Graphite Shaft Extractor into any Graphite Shaft Extractor for easy shaft tip removal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works! I have used the product once and it did the job. Shafts broken at the hosel have always been an issue for me but I would hope that is in the past.

How does that work ?

Asked by: sammie
You start by using a 7/32" drill bit and drill down 1" into the hole in the center of the broken graphite shaft. Next thread the screw down into the shaft. Clamp the Broken Shaft Extractor into a Graphite Shaft Puller. Heat the hosel with a heat gun and use the Graphite Shaft Puller to remove the shaft. If you have a GolfWorks catalog on the top of page 162 is a picture showing how this is used with the Graphite Shaft Puller. If you do not have a catalog at this link go to page 162 and you can see how it is used. http://mydigimag.rrd.com/publication/?i=294516
