Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tigger shark is here to stay ! Hi I have bought tiger shark grips since 1987 or 88 .. I developed with a friend a plastic head made out of a a hard Delron ... It was machined and that is the grip we put on the shaft to balance the putter head with the shaft .. The putter had a great inertia off the head and seemed to also have a great and different sound to the face of the putter .. But for sure the tigger shark putter grips have been the grip to buy .. I have also had people ask me to put the tigger share grip on there own putter shaft .. They really like the large grip to control there alinement .. Thanks for the newer grips love the colors ... Rated 1 out of 5 by from hard to put on Just like a winn grip there is no give in the neck to slip it on over the shaft. It stopped after three quarters of the way on and wouldn't go on any farther. Had to cut it off. I was extra careful to make sure the inside of the grip and the 2 inch tape was extra well lubricated. A waste of $20.00.

What is meant by "core size"? What is the outside diameter of the Mega Grip versus the Oversize of Mid-size? Many Thanks.

Asked by: civico
Core size is the measurement of the hole on the inside of the grip that goes over the butt end of the shaft. This putter grip has a .580" core size which is designed to match up with a .580" butt diameter shaft, which traditionally has been the butt diameter of most putter shafts. You can install a .580" core size grip on a .600" butt diameter shaft. The grip will measure .015" larger in diameter. The OD (outside diameter) of the Mega grip measure 5" around which is similar in diameter to the Super Stroke 5.0 grips. A mid size grip like the Super Stroke 3.0 measures just under 4" OD.
