Trimming Instructions

True Temper Dynalite 100 .370" Steel Iron Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dynalites Perform Nice shaft. The long parallel tip gives control and feel. Not tooo light. When the shafts become too light, the whole club is too light, the core muscles do not know when to fire and spray the ball. The long raw shaft gives the ability to play longer clubs with out adding an extension. Nice shaft, good feel.

Can anyone tell or direct me to the step pattern and tip length on this shaft? I'm trying to see if this matches up to a Wilson Ci iron shaft that feels really nice to me.

Asked by: jedc
The predominant steps on a Dynalite measure 1.25". Tip to first step measurement is 10.5".

If you start with 122g weight for the R/S flex, what will 6 iron shaft end up weighing with 4.5 inches trimmed off? Thanks.

Asked by: Johnno
My calculations tell me approximately 109 grams for the weight of the cut 6 iron shaft. I take the weight of the shaft, 122 grams, divide it by the raw length of the shaft, 42", which gives me approximately 2.9 grams per inch. Mulitply that by 4.5" which is just over 13 grams. 122 minus 13 equals 109 grams.

Have old TT steel iron shaft with laser etching of "ULIC" at butt end. Can you tell me what True Temper model that is...I would like to order more. Thanks,Gary

Asked by: GOB66
ULIC was the True Temper Dynalite combination flex shaft. It was sold in an A/L flex and an R/S flex. True Temper discontinued this shaft a few years ago and really did not replace it with a new shaft. We do still have some in stock. You will find them at this link.

looking to replace stiif shafts on Wilson Staff Ci11's. Which shaft do you recommend to replace stock shaft of these clubs with a regular flex shaft?

Asked by: g1899
According to some information the Dynalite 100 is the shaft that Wilson uses in the Ci11's.
