What is the weight of the X100 Driver shaft? What other steel Driver shafts are an option? I swing at 125Mph, I want a steel shaft as a project in an old driver head.

Asked by: Benzo
The DG X100 wood shaft weights 125 grams. At this link scroll down the page to the specification box and you can see all the specifications for this shaft. http://www.golfworks.com/true-temper-dynamic-gold-steel-wood-shafts/p/UDGW/

Hello Again, I couldn't see your staff's answer to my earlier question: what part# do I need to order for a set S300 labels? I'm restoring a set of Wilson Staff Logo '89-'90 Irons I picked up for free. Thx. Sarge

Asked by: Sarge420
We are not allowed to sell just the shaft bands. The shaft manufactures are concerned about the misuse of the shaft labels.

Can you fit this shaft to a Titliest 913D driver?  Also what shaft do you recommend for a 90-95 driver swing speed?

Asked by: Coop
A AjTech Z-42. Made for 90-100mph driver swing. I've been playing them since 1991 as their Test-pilot. They're long too.

Hello. I'd like to put X100's on my 2015 Callaway XR fairway woods. The true temper site recommends tip trimming the 3-wood 0.5" and the 5-wood 1.0". Would this make the clubs too stiff? I'm hoping to have true X-flexes on both. Thank you.

Asked by: Joe
If you did not tip trim these shafts per True Temper's instructions your X100 would play more flexible then an X100. When you have a shaft that can be used in both drivers and fairway woods this type of tip trimming is normal to maintain the flex of the shafts.

How can I tell the flex of the shaft in my driver? I know its true temper gold. Want to put together another driver and want the same shaft flex.

Asked by: Chuck
If the shaft is a Dynamic Gold the flex is listed on the butt end of the shaft under the grip. Another way to tell is to measure from the back of the heel of the club to the first step. You can do this by placing the driver in the playing position and putting a ruler up against the back of the club, just like if you were measuring for club length, and measure from the ground up to the first step. With most of today's driver designs this measurement will be in the 12.5" range for an R flex and 10.5" for the S flex.

I'd like to try a heavier shaft and these are my option.. I have a Cleveland Classic 310 the tip size is .350 is there something that can be done to fit thesee .335 shafts?

Asked by: Mike
You can shim the shaft using the SHIM15, http://www.golfworks.ca/the-golfworks-brass-adaptor-shims/p/SHIM/ or you can use the Universal Plastic SHIM (BB9018) http://www.golfworks.ca/universal-shim-with-ferrule-335/p/BB9018/ These will size the .350" hosel bore down to a .335" size to fit this shaft.
