Hi there, I need to order s400, 40" shaft for my 3 iron and it shows I need a special order from you. How to do that and how much cost it would be? Thanks.

Hi, I got on the mizuno shaft optimizer at my golf club and it recommends dg x100 shafts soft stepped. If I was to order a set of shafts to install in my mizuno mp-25 irons and I need them soft stepped should I order a 2-9 set of shafts?

Asked by: Kejoal11
If your set make up is 3 through PW to soft step them you would start with the 2 iron shaft for the 3 iron and step down in 1/2" increments but you will order the 8 iron shaft for the 9 iron and any wedges. True Temper uses the 37" raw length shaft as the stock flex shaft for the 9 iron and all wedges. For the 3 - PW set you would order the 40.5" shaft through the 37.5" shafts so that they would be soft stepped 1 club.

I am considering purchasing a set 4-PW uncut shafts. I like building my own sets but have never attempted trimming on my own. I am reading conflicting reports online regarding trimming .355 tip iron shafts. Do you tip trim these at all or is it all butt?

Asked by: kgilles5
The Dynamic Gold Tour Issue iron shafts are a .355" taper tip and they are butt cut only. If you tip cut a .355" taper tip shaft it will not longer fit into a .355" tapered hosel bore. These shafts are only .355" at the very tip end. They immediately begin to taper out and get bigger from there.

Are your stiff shafts 132g raw length or cut length for your True temper Dg tour issue

Asked by: Joshua
132 is the raw shaft weight for the uncut shafts.

I was hoping that i could put these shafts in a iron set that is 370. Can i do that? If so how much more is it going to cost me

Asked by: Kinger
These can be installed using our SHIM T brass shim to make the shafts fit properly. http://www.golfworks.com/the-golfworks-brass-adaptor-shims/p/SHIM/ The cost would be the cost of the shafts and shims plus the normal reshafting price of $19.95 per club.

I am looking to buy a s400 dynamic gold tour issue individual wedge, and have it cut down prior to it being shipped. What exactly do I measure? Butt end all the way through the hosel and the ferrule, or do we measure short of either of those?

Asked by: Brog2132
For finished club length you can use a 48" ruler place behind the shaft with the club sitting in the playing position and measure form the ground to the top edge of the grip. At this link we have some drawings showing how these measurements are taken. http://www.golfworks.com/images/art/StdLengths.pdf

In order to softstep with dynamic gold tour issue shafts can I buy individual 37.5 shafts for the PW and 9 irons.

Asked by: j4golf
You would have to contact Customer Service and they can special order the 37.5" shaft for you. True Temper packages them in sets only with the exception of the 1,2, & SW shafts. They do not make the individual shafts available except through special order. You can contact customer service at golfworks@golfworks.com or by calling 1-800-848-8358.
