Will the .382 ID Flare Tipped putter shaft fit over a 370 hosel on a Puku putter head

Asked by: Bill
The Puku putter does not use a Flare Tip putter shaft. It used a special shaft that was at least a .390" tip diameter to go over the post which is .368". The shaft did not taper at all. It was the same diameter from the tip to the butt end of the shaft and used a special grip. We use to assemble the Puku putters here at GolfWorks. There is not stock shaft that will fit this putter.

I have a ping anser 4 that is pretty old. My shaft broke. What shaft do I need?  I believe the original shaft is 34" but I don't know what size the tip is. The shaft slides over the putter. Most the shops around me can't fix it. Thanks Ben

Asked by: Ben
You need the TT0004P Flare Tip putter shaft for the Ping Anser 4 putter. http://www.golfworks.com/true-temper-straight-taper-steel-putter-shafts/p/YST/

I have a Scotty Cameron Select GoLo S that needs a shaft. Which shaft should I buy?

Asked by: BrentMcK
From what I have seen with other Cameron putters where the shaft goes into the head it should be a .355" taper tip or the YST. The folks at Cameron or Titleist will not give me any information on tip sizes used in the Cameron putters.

I have a Wilson original 600 putter head no wooden peg. I would like some advise on how to install a decent shaft?

Asked by: Jim Hahn
I believe this putter you use a .355" taper tip putter shaft like the YST. You would also need a ferrule like 75TI. Reshafting would be the same steps that are shown at this link. http://www.golfworks.com/images/art/2008ReshaftSteel.pdf Installing the new shaft would be the same steps at this link except step 1a. There would be no tip trimming for this putter shaft into the Wilson putter head. http://www.golfworks.com/images/art/2008HowToBuildClubs.pdf Installing a new grip would follow the steps at this link. http://www.golfworks.com/images/art/2008Regrip.pdf

Hi, is the the shaft no TT0004P .382 mm tapered that i need to purchase to replace the Ping Zing Karsten TR shaft putter?. The shaft needs to cover a post. Thank you

Asked by: Michel
I just measured the tip section of the shaft in the Ping Zing Karsten TR Putter and it measures .382" but the whole tip section measures .382". The flare tip (TT0004P) shaft is only .382" at the very tip and then tapers down and gets smaller. It appears that Ping is using a different shaft for this putter and we do not have a replacement for this shaft. It will have to be send back to Ping for reshafting.

I need a putter shaft for a white ICE 2 ball Center shaft putter. I've tried a 370 bore shaft several times even building  up the shaft Peg mount with masking tape.  Can you tell me if I need a taper tip shaft?

Asked by: Yahoo999
The Odyssey putters use a .370" tip diameter shaft but it is very common for the fit to be loose on these over the post designs with all manufactures. I personally have also used masking tape as a shim as well as Quik Center (QCSB) to help tighten the fit and keep the shaft centered on the post. http://www.golfworks.com/the-golfworks-quick-center-shafting-beads/p/QCSB/
