Rated 5 out of 5 by from Having the shaft PUREd makes a difference Was somewhat concerned about the manufacturer's rated torque for this shaft (3.7 degrees) when I ordered it. However, I wanted to try a shaft less than 60 grams in weight and the V2 was the only one I found in the 50 gram range with the lowest torque rating in your catalog. I was presently surprised when the PUREing process measured it at only 2.8 degrees. Played it for the first time and was very pleased with the results. The dispersion pattern was very good and MUCH better than the shaft that came with my new Callaway XR2. Can work the ball either way with this shaft without over doing the draw or fade as was not the case with the Fujikura shaft that came with the club. Ps: would also be interested in a sub 60 gram S or X mid trag. shaft with even less torque if one becomes available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Distance and feel! Just received the Taylormade Tour Burner Driver with the V2 shaft (stiff)! What a combination! Gained 20+ yards to my drives! Thank you Neil!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shaft I used the Proforce V2 55 gram A-Flex shafts in a Maltby PFT 10.5 degree driver and KE4 SSFI 3-metal and could not be happier with the results. I am 66 years old and the A-Flex works great for me. I have increased my distance with both the driver and 3-metal. The flight trajectory is lower with these shafts and this gives me some additional roll. These new clubs have replaced a 2009 Taylormade Burner driver and Burner 3-metal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional performance / value! I have been golfing for over 40 years and been a club maker for over 30. I have tried just about every driver shaft on the market and for me, the best feeling and performing of them all is the Pro Force V2 stiff flex .335 tip. Consistent, smooth and LONG. Without a doubt winner of the best "bang for the buck" award!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREAT PRODUCY and CUSTOMER SERVICE Wanted a shaft to get the ball up a little higher.Seems to fit the bill. The only thing I had a problem with, not Golfworks, was shipping USPS Priority is supposed to be 2 days and it took 7 days. No tracking available and USPS seems to be satisfied, 7days is not priority, I'm not satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Wood Shaft Paired with the Taylormade r7 Superquad driver, the UST ProForce V2 75g shaft is a great match! Kick point, feel and flex all combine to increase my distance and narrow my shot dispersion from the tee. Love the combo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Proforce V2 75 R Tried several shafts in search of the best one for my Nike VR Tour 9.5 driver. I finally put the V2 75 reg flex in and all I can say is wow! I'm hitting it longer and straighter than all the other shafts I've tried.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I have found I have tried many different shafts( more and less expensive) and I always seem to come back to the proforce V2. In my opinion this is the most stable, solid feeling, and best performing shaft I have used.

I had a V2 shaft in a Ping I20 driver, long story short had to replace it with something else and not satisfied.  Would I need a adapter?

Asked by: JOHN
The Ping I20 used a .350" tip diameter shaft so you will need to use the BB9048 adapter to install this .335" tip diameter shaft. Order the one marked for .335"

This shaft would be a replacement for an Adams 5 wood Super S Speedline VST.  Will I need an adapter or anything else to make this shaft work?

Asked by: Frank
The Adams Super S Speedline VST used a .335" tip diameter shaft. It just had a standard ferrule with a single chrome trim ring like our 52PW.

I had V2 65g/stiff. Now I have V2 75g/regular. To my surprise I would even say that 75g/regular plays stiffer (gives less kick) than 65/stiff. I have very long smooth swing with smaller load. Will 65/regular combo give me a bit more kick/distance? Thanks

Asked by: Peter
The added weight of the V2 75 gram shaft can make it feel like it plays stiffer but in our own profile shaft test data the V2 75 R flex tested as being more flexible then the V2 65 S flex. We fit R flex shafts in a 77 to 92 mph swingspeed and S flexes in a 93 to 107 mph range. If you just felt the V2 65 S flex was playing to stiff but other wise liked the shaft then the V2 65 R flex should be a good choice.

Had the good fortune to win a 915D2, a 915F3 and a 915H2.  All have stiff shafts.  I'm 70 yrs old and have lost some flexibility.  I hit it straight and my 5 iron is good for 150 yards.  Any recommendations for shafts?

Asked by: Mike46
Shafts like the Xcaliber Tour SL could work well in the driver fairway wood and hybrid. The AS0026 shaft in an A flex for the driver. The AS0029 for the fairway wood and the AS0032 for the hybrid. We get very good feedback from all of these shafts.

What do the codes such as 2B3M on the wood shafts mean?

Asked by: Jim
2 stands for the shaft flex which the 2 is an A or Senior flex. B stands for a mid weight shaft in either steel or graphite, D stands for Distance which would be a light weight steel or graphite shaft and C stands for control which generally comes from a heavier steel or graphite shaft. 3 stands for a shaft that is designed to hit the ball higher. 2 would be for a mid ball flight and 1 for a low ball flight. M stands for a shaft that is not needed to help correct a hook or slice. H would be for a shaft to correct a hook and S for a shaft to help correct a Slice. Here is a link from our web site where you can answer the questions to create your own 4 digit code and when you click on Get Your MPF it will bring up the shafts in your code.
