Winn Golf Grip Specifications

Winn Dri-Tac Golf Grips is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favourite grips I have used these grips for more than two years. They have excellent feel and maintain reasonable grip in wet conditions. I live in a subtropical area and never use a glove. Longevity not an issue for me I play 150+ rounds per year and they last at least that long in all but the most used club(driver) which I replace after 9 mths.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Feel The Winn grips are absolutely as advertised. Butter soft with great tack and feel Wet or dry these grips perform. In today's grip market these are mid-price, but offer top shelf feel, quality and performance. Minus 1/4 star for durability, but that's just being picky. If you prefer a really firm feeling grip than these are not for you, but if want to reduce your grip pressure without sacrifice, then I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Gloveless Grip I have been playing gloveless for the last 2 years since going to the Winn grip. You simply do not need to waste money on gloves using these grips. Just regrip all my clubs with the midsize grips. Hit em straigh n Hit em long all day long with these babies.

No the Dri-Tac is not available in Purple. Winn will make grips for the major companies at times that they do not make available to the aftermarket.

How to measure your grip size

Asked by: Jan
Grip one of your current clubs and then remove your lower hand and look at the top hand grip. If your middle 2 fingers are just touching the pad of your hand and the grip pressure is comfortable the grip size would be correct. If your fingers are digging into your palm the grip size is to small and if there is a gap between your fingers and palm the grip size is to large. Most golf retailers will have grip sizing samples in their stores. It could be a good idea to stop into a store and have your grip size checked.

Looking for a Winn type grip (have used the style before the DriTac and it was very soft for me (I believe they classed it as a medium) Do Winn have anything that could still be clasified as 'Firm' or are these Win DriTac grips all 'Medium'

Asked by: Bram
Winn classifies the Dri-Tac and Excel grips as a medium firm feel. They used to offer the Excel in a Firm feel but that grip was discontinued a few years ago. Compared to the Firm Excel grip all of their grips feel softer to me. The Taylor Made Burner Superfast grips (WN0080) grips to me have a firmer feel then the stock Winn Grips. Winn makes the Taylor Made Burner Superfast grips. http://www.golfworks.ca/tayormade-burner-superfast-replacement-grip/p/WN0080/

I am looking at a set of midsize grips. I have tried the Winn Dritac and was looking to switch to the Lamkin 3Gen Ace. But they are a different diameter? .600" instead of .580" for the Lamkin. Will this give me a different outside diameter for Lamkin?

Asked by: Jeffrey
This will depend on the butt size of the shafts you are installing them on. If the shafts are .600" then installing a .580" grip will make the OD 1/64" oversize. Do you know what the butt size of that shaft are?

Asked by: Bobby
I am not quite sure what your question is? The Winn Dry Tac is available in 2 Ladies size models. These would be the same size as what is sometimes called Undersize.
