how do I change the cutter blade? mine and broke we can't figure out how to change the blade

Asked by: jcuse1
There is a guard on the left hand side covering the wheel that is removed with 3 screws. Remove the guard and then there is a bolt and washer to remove and the cutting wheel will slide off. With a double shafted motor like this you may need to put a wrench on the bolt holding the cutting wheel and the bolt on the other side holding the sanding unit to get the bolt to loosen.

how do I change the sanding belt to the polishing belt

Asked by: Red1
On the bottom of the yellow guard there is a tab that you push down and out and it will open. To the right of the post there is a knob. Loosen the knob and then push down on the top of the yellow guard to loosen the belt and remove the belt. To install the new belt push down on the yellow guard to compress the spring and install the new belt. Close the yellow guard box. You can rotate the yellow guard box right of left to align the belt. Do that and then re tighten the knob and you are ready to go.

The description mentions it's good for prepping graphite shafts. Does it work well for abrading steel shaft tips as well?

Asked by: mikeberlin
Yes it can abrade steel shafts as well. You do use different sanding belts for abrading steel and graphite shafts. I use the BEL (Course 50 grit) or abrading steel shafts and the NOR42 for abrading graphite shafts. You could also use the M142B for abrading graphite shafts. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=SB3C http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=NOR42 http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=M130B

When will the Belt/Sanding attachment be available again?  Will it adapt to other make grinders?

Asked by: JMP
We should have these in the first week of February. We really cannot say how well it will adapt to other grinders but it would likely have to be a buffer grinds and then it would come down to how well the mounting holes line up.

Hi there, do you offer the machine with european voltage conectors. I have the same Baldor machine purchased from Mitchell golf years ago & the machine works great. I also have the top of the range from Golf Mechanix but the Baldor is way better. Thanks

Asked by: Jason
Sorry, we do not offer the Baldor Belt Sander with european voltage.
