Rated 5 out of 5 by from ASP-2 I bought this finished with a Lamkin deep etched grip, the replaced to 10g weights with 15g weights. Without a doubt, this is the best putter I have ever bought and used. I feel like I purchased a Scotty Cameron $350 putter for $68. It's a fantastic design and the feel is impeccable! Great job,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accusite AS-Pro ASP1 pure man Newport2 Assembled ASP1 and it is very similar to Newport2 putter. Newport2 looks better but cost 10 times more. Otherwise similar. I tipped shaft 3/4" as titleist uses stiffer Japanese true temper shafts which I cannot find here is US.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great putter! Purchased an ASP1 assembled with a Super Stroke grip. I am very impressed with the finished quality of the putter. Got the 15 gram weights also. Really happy with the way this putter feels and the way the ball comes off the face. It's kind of a poor mans Scotty Cameron!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Putter .....comparable to Scotty Cam Newport I was looking for a new putter and decided to build my own. What better place than Golfworks. I ordered the ASP1 head and 2.0 Superstroke @33 inches. The minute I received it, I knew I had something. The feel and balance is great, not sure if its the well balanced milled head or the Superstroke with the counterbalancing weight, whatever it is I dont care, its working. Ive played now approx 10-15 rounds and my putting has improved, I know as I track this. I went from an average of 34-36 per round (yeah I know was bad) to now within the 30 range. Its a great feeling to stand over a put and think each time I can make this. Anything within 3 feet if practically a gimme. I very rarely 2 putt anymore This hasnt gone unnoticed either as my playing partners have noticed the change. One of which swore by his Scotty Cameron Newport. He happens to be a very good putter averaging around 28 per round. He asked to use my putter during a recent round and after 18 holes confessed that the balance and feel was phenomenal. The only difference he noticed, which was slight he said was the feel during contact. The scotty felt a bit more solid whilst the the ASP1 seemed to less harsh and smoother.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely but untested outdoors Used to assemble my own clubs but realized I had a fool for a clubmaker. Beautifully put together to my specs, something I almost never accomplished. Price was right as well. Will probably get fitted soon for new irons and will have GW make them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent, versatile putters Each model is top quality with great feel. I especially like being able to put the 15 gram weights in to make the swing weight heavier. Doing my best putting now with the ASP3 and the Maltby Oversize Putter grip (MA0161).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Verry nice Been looking at these heads for a while. I put the Apollo black putter shaft left a little long some weight in the butt and a super stroke claw grip. lots of fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good features I bought these components to build a new putter for my own use. The end result is very easy to use and my putting has improved.

How many grams is the as-pro2 head at standard weight and how heavy can it be with heavier weights?

Asked by: Terry
The ASP2 (AS1001) weights 360 grams. It comes stock with two 10 gram weights installed and we have 15 gram weights available so the weight can go up to 370 gram with the two 15 gram weight installed.

When you say that "the ASP3 is not quite a face balanced putter", what do you mean? Should it have a slight amount of toe-hang, or should it hang slightly toe-up? I am using the TT1002P shaft.

Asked by: Woody
When I have checked them they will hang just slightly top up. The ones I have assembled have the TT1002P shaft.
