Aerotech SteelFiber 70 Shaft Specifications

Aerotech Steelfiber 70 CW Graphite Iron Shafts - .355" is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent A flex shaft Reshafted my partner's Callaway Apex irons with this shaft in A flex and she loves them. The weight and flex is a great match for her swing. She has added about 5 metres distance to most of her irons and is way more consistent.

Do you trim the shafts to length for 4i to 9i and wedge before shipping for graphite shafts

Asked by: Dileepa
You can request to have the shafts trimmed and prepped before shipping. There is an additonal charge per shaft. It would be best to contact GolfWorks Canada directly at 1-800-387-5331 and they can help you with your order and get all your specifications.

Hi, I'm 68yo male 15 handicap. I use Bridgestone J38 DPC with 5.0 PX steel. My swing speed is down to 82mph with my driver. Which shaft do you recommend.

Asked by: Reggieboy
We reference a 7 iron from 150 yards for an R flex, 8 iron from 150 for an S flex and 6 iron from 150 for an A flex. Your driver swingspeed would put you into an R flex. The Aerotech Steel Fiber 70CW will fit the Bridgestone irons and could be a good choice.

My driver swing speed is 88 mph with the driver. Which aerotech shaft would be best to install in my Mizuno mp 25 irons

Asked by: Joe
Your Mizuno MP25 irons use a .355" taper tip shaft. You can install the 70CW (AT0020IE), 80CW (AT0019IE), 95CW (AT0015IE) or 110CW (AT0017IE) depending on which weight and playing characteristics fit your needs the best. Your swingspeed puts you in an R flex range. I would think the 70CW or 80CW could work well for you.

If I wanted a lower trajectory in a graphite iron shaft regular flex what would you recommend?

Asked by: Lefty
Generally the heavier weight graphite iron shafts are designed for a lower ball flight. The Steelfiber 95, 110 are designed for a mid to mid/low ball flight and the Steelfiber 80 is designed for a mid ball flight. The same is true with the UST Recoil shaft with the 95, 110 and 125 gram weight shafts being designed for a mid ball flight. The Project X (TT0115) graphite iron shaft is designed for a low ball flight. The Fujikura Pro 75 and 95 (FK0085) are designed for a mid ball flight in the R and S flexes. The Xcaliber Tour X (AS0036) iron shafts are designed to produce a mid to low/mid ball flight. The Mitsubishi Kuro Kage Black 2nd Gen (MR0046) is designed for a mid ball flight and so is the Kuro Kage w/TiNi 85 (MR0067) Some of this depends on how much lower do you want your ball flight and what shaft are you currently using so that a comparison can be made as to which of these shafts might work well for you.

I have a set of ping g25 4 to gap wedge. Looking to switch to graphite shafts. Would these work with them?

Asked by: John
The AT0020i Aerotech 70 shafts are the lightest in the Aerotech line-up and are designed for slower swinging players needing more distance. They would work in the g25 irons and should be a good choice if your game matches the playing characteristics of the shaft.
