Trimming Instructions

Aerotech SteelFiber Graphite Iron Shafts - .370" is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shaft with interesting features I liked the taper tip version in other clubs so I bought this shaft to try in a set of single length irons to reduce total weight, increase club speed, add a bit of kick and increase swingweight. Balance point is relatively closer to tip in these shafts so swingweight ended up a bit too high with my normal 50gm grip. After "counterbalancing" with a 64gm grip, all of my objectives were achieved . Club feels just the way I wanted, distance is significantly increased. Dispersion excellent. Superb shaft, will do the whole set.

I ASSEMBLED A SET OF IRONS FOR MYSELF USING THE i 80 R FLEX. I AGREE WITH MY CUSTOMER THE BEST SHAFTS I HAVE EVER HAD IN A SET OF IRONS. I RECOMMEND THESE SHAFTS TO MY FRIENDS AND ANYONE WANTING A GREAT QUALITY SHAFT AT A REASONABLE PRICE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great move I've been playing the Aerotech 80 shaft for a month (previous shaft was the Rifle 5.0). Tested them on Pine Valley and Merion two weeks ago. Great feel; very stable. Works for all shots. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great control and distance I have used these shafts with the MXU utility heads, and they give excellent accuracy and distance. I have also used the Steelfiber shafts in some irons, and my customers really like the control and distance, along with outsanding feel. Overall, it is a fine shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I80 & I95 Aerotech shafts 12HC* I bought these after I had hit them in my father in-laws clubs. Im never been a guy who believes equipment adds or detracts that much from aersons game, but rather talent, swing plane and fundamentals make up the majority of one game. These shafts have slightly made me re-think about that. Since added these shafts to my XR irons (played at 2 degrees flat) I kid you not I am a club to a club and a half longer and much more accurate!! Its almost unbelievable... Pricey but my god what diffrence they have made!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i95's We installed the stiff i95's in the VEGA VM-02 raw iron heads(D4)and put the i110's in the wedges. We also built a set for my father(8 handicap) with regular i95's and the VEGA VC-03 heads(D4). The shaft/head combo has an incredible look and feel. Shaft is very stable despite the intitial overall light feel and the traj is perfect. I would recommended these shafts to players of all levels and swing speeds.

Can you put a .370 shaft in ping iron heads?

Asked by: jeff
Ping uses .355" taper tip shafts. .370" size shafts will not fit Ping Irons. We do not recommend sanding down the tip to fit and especially with the Steel Fiber shafts because you would be sanding through the steel fiber in the shafts and it could cause damage. The Steel Fiber shafts are available in a .355" taper tip (AT0020IE) that will fit the Ping irons. https://www.golfworks.com/aerotech-steelfiber-70-cw-graphite-iron-shafts-355/p/AT0020IE/

I was recommended to use the aerotech steel fiber shaft for my irons, I need more distance. I own taylormade M2 (2016) and rocketblaze, my 8 iron goes about 130 yrs. Which shaft do you recommend and is there a distributor in the Miami, Fl. area.

Asked by: Oscar
The TM M2 irons use a .370" tip size shaft so in the 80 gram Steel Fiber you would use the AT0004I shafts or in the 70 gram the AT0018I shafts. We recommend an R flex for a 7 iron from 150 yards and an A flex for a 6 iron from 150 yards. The A flex is only available in the 70 gram Steel Fiber (AT0018I).

Curious if you could use the i80 as the shaft for a KE4 Tour Hybrid head? Current driver SS is about 100-105mph. Do you see any limitations to such a combination?

Asked by: MikeyB
There would be no problem installing the Steel Fiber i80 iron shaft into the KE4 Tour Hybrid. An iron shaft can work well in a hybrid head. Your driver swingspeed would put you into an S flex.

I am using steelfiber i70 R flex for Srixon Z545 iron with 1/2inch length cut. It is great feel for me. So I am considering to add same shaft for my hybrid. Should I choose same weight/flex as well?

Asked by: Pumpui2017
You could install the same iron shaft into your hybrids. They can work well. Aerotech does have the HLS Hybrid and the AT0022 is a 75 gram weight hybrid that could also work well. You can see this shaft at this link an if you scroll down the page you will see the description and specifications for the HLS Hybrid shafts. https://www.golfworks.com/aerotech-hls-graphite-hybrid-shaft/p/AT0022/

I bought 5 to PW PXG irons used, with Stiff I95 Aerotech Steel Fiber shafts. My 7 iron swing speed is around 85 right between regular and stiff I think. I avg. about 170 yds. I would like to try a R Flex in those irons. What weight would you recommend

Asked by: DFN
If you are hitting a 7 iron from 170 yards that would fit into an S flex shaft. We reference an 8 iron from 150 yards for an S flex. If you are going to try an R flex you might want to stay in the 95 gram weight range and probably no lighter then the 80 gram range.

Is there a big difference between the i95 and i110 stiff shafts besides the weight? Hit my 7 iron 150-155. Looking for a lower ball flight.

Asked by: Yman1221
The weight is the biggest difference but the 110 will play a little stiffer then the 95 both in S flex. Both are listed as a low/mid trajectory but I would expect the 110 to be just a little lower.

I want to install Aerotech 95R to my AP1 712. Do I need a special tip? Thank you. Nash

Asked by: Nash
For the AP1 712 irons you need the .355" taper tip version of the Aerotech Steel Fiber 95CW shafts. The code is AT0015IE. https://www.golfworks.com/aerotech-steelfiber-95-iron-shafts-355/p/AT0015IE/
