Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shaft I've have a set of drivers with Aldila shafts. But, this is the first time I installed Aldila graphite shafts on iron clubheads. Is it possible a new set of STi Maltby irons with low torgue Aldila graphite shafts could increase my confidence on the course? - don't ask. I love the feel. Best ever!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great price good shaft. The k I bought these to put in my 2 Cleveland Wedges. I prefer graphite over steel and I really like the feel of these. They're much better than the stock steel shaft. Hard to beat for the money.

I am looking to replace steel shafts (R300 Dynamic Gold) in my Cobra SS forged cavity back irons. What shaft will fit?

Asked by: ScrappyLDB
No, the Aldila Low Torque shafts will not fit the Cobra SS Forged Cavity Back irons. The SS irons use a .355" taper tip and the Low Torque shafts are only available in a .370" parallel tip, which is to large to fit the SS irons. You would need to use shafts like the Aerotech Steel Fiber 70CW (AT0020IE), Paderson Kinetixx TS-I (PK0105) and the UST Recoil 65 (US0100).

Please explain what you are referring to regarding: Pureing, Tip & Butt Trimming, and Tip Prepping.

Asked by: Steve
Puring is a process that tests the shaft for it's most stable plain of oscillation. Shafts are not perfectly round and straight and having the shaft Pured and aligned will make it play as if it is perfectly round and straight. You can see more about Puring at the SST Pure web site at this link. http://sstpure.com/ Tip and Butt trimming is a process of doing any tip trimming and sanding the tip of the shaft. Butt trimming is cutting the shaft for your finished length. With this process that shaft would be ready for you to install when you receive it. Tip prepping is sanding the tip of the shaft and doing any tip trimming that might be required for the shaft. You would have to butt trim when you receive the shaft.

I have a 2010 set of Cleveland CG7 3-9 irons. Because of injured shoulders, I am thinking of replacing the standard regular flex steel shafts with graphite. Suggestions

Asked by: Vincer
The Aldila Low Torque or Aldila Value Series (VXBI) could both work. If you need a lighter weight option the AldaLite (AL0056) could be a very good choice. https://www.golfworks.com/aldila-value-series-graphite-iron-shaft/p/VXIAL/ https://www.golfworks.com/aldila-aldalite-graphite-iron-shafts/p/AL0056/

have 2005 set of Ping 5 irons with TFC100i graphite shafts. One just snapped off at head. Another is cracked near head. These custom fit clubs have my name on them. I need to replace shafts. What to you suggest?

Asked by: flocker
Hey Jim. you should contact Ping. I've got 5 sets of Pings over the years. The head of my irons broke off 2 or 3 times. The pro at the club I was a member of sent them to Ping and they replace them each time at NO CHARGE. Plus they cleaned them up for me and painted the numbers. Ping is great at customer service.

looking for a sw shaft lady graphite .370 tip

Asked by: mstapleton
The Aldila Low Torque 1204I in the L flex would work. Another option could be the Maltby LTech (MA0209) iron shaft in the L flex.

What shaft would match the ping 401 in the karsten iron sets I need two shaft as close as I can get ping want $62 each

Asked by: Marow
The Ping irons use a .355" taper tip shaft. I would suggest the Xcaliber (AS0028) as a good inexpensive replacement for the 401 and it will fit the Ping Irons. https://www.golfworks.com/axe-xcaliber-taper-tip-graphite-iron-shafts/p/AS0028/
