The 120W Aldila Low Torque wood shaft has a .335 tip diamter and unless the hybrid you are wanting to use them in has a.335 hosel, they will not work. Most hybrids today have a .370 tip hosel. You could use the 1204I Low Torque iron shaft in a hybrid. The tip trim would depend on the head weight of the hybrid head and the playing length you were going to make the club. If the head weight, for instance, was similar to a #3 iron head, the trim instruction is our code IR3, which on our chart calls for 1" tip trim and then trim to final playing length from the butt end. Be aware, that the raw shaft length of the Low Torque iron is 40", so you want to be sure if you trim some from the tip, you can still reach your desired playing length. You might consider the Aldila Value Series Hybrid shafts, which are .370 tip and come in a 42" raw length. Those require no tip trim, just install and trim to final playing length from the butt end.
