I'm new to The Golfworks and am not familiar with your tip trimming guide. Are there tip trimming instructions for this shaft for use with Hybrids?

Asked by: Average Golfer
The 120W Aldila Low Torque wood shaft has a .335 tip diamter and unless the hybrid you are wanting to use them in has a.335 hosel, they will not work. Most hybrids today have a .370 tip hosel. You could use the 1204I Low Torque iron shaft in a hybrid. The tip trim would depend on the head weight of the hybrid head and the playing length you were going to make the club. If the head weight, for instance, was similar to a #3 iron head, the trim instruction is our code IR3, which on our chart calls for 1" tip trim and then trim to final playing length from the butt end. Be aware, that the raw shaft length of the Low Torque iron is 40", so you want to be sure if you trim some from the tip, you can still reach your desired playing length. You might consider the Aldila Value Series Hybrid shafts, which are .370 tip and come in a 42" raw length. Those require no tip trim, just install and trim to final playing length from the butt end.

Will iit ffit mmy ccallaway rrazor ddriver

Asked by: tony
The Callaway Razr driver used a .350" tip diameter shaft. To install the Aldila Low Torque in this driver you will need to use a new shaft adaptor that is sized for the .335" tip size shaft. You will need the BB9049 shaft adaptor. http://www.golfworks.com/the-golfworks-razr-fit-shaft-adaptor/p/BB9049/

Can this can tipped for an xr 15 pro driver?

Asked by: cmac1020
Actually there would be no tip trimming for a driver with this shaft per the recommended trimming instructions. It could be tip trimmed to make it play a little stiffer if someone wanted that. This shaft will work with the XR15 Pro driver.

Can you attach your adapter to an Aldila wood for Bid Bertha driver V series, I would like to order it.?

Asked by: Chefboy
For the Callaway V Series driver you would need the CA0020 adaptor. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=CA0020 If you are ordering on line place your order for the adaptor, shaft and grip. At Checkout in the Special Notes box put a note that you would like this assembled. Be sure to tell us how you want the shaft installed into the adaptor, (which setting). Tell us the Model of the Driver (V Series) and what finished length you want. Also include any special grip installation instructions such as size.

which flex is senior

Asked by: carmech
The 1204W does not come in a traditional "A" flex or senior flex. The L flex will be slightly more flexible than an A flex and the R flex will be slighty more stiff than an A flex.
