Aldila NV Graphite Wood Shaft

The Aldila NV graphite wood shaft provides the player with very uniform feel and consistent performance due to its constant taper wall thickness design.

  • .335" and .350" tip diameters available
  • Constant taper design to eliminate "dead spots" or inconsistent flex zones
  • Unmatched consistency throughout the NV line, regardless the shaft weight
  • Available in 55, 65, 75 or 85 Series

Trimming Instructions

Aldila NV Graphite Wood Shaft is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smoooooth!!! This is one smooth shaft. I purchased the 65X .335 for my Supertri a while back as the stock shaft felt like a wet noodle. I have a high swing speed coupled with a quick transition which really loads this shaft up well. It's just so responsive, that I can feel the clubheads presence throughout the swing. Nice medium to low launch and the ball just soars on a smooth arc with excellent roll out. I have since pulled the tour issue Project X out my Titleist 910D3 are re-tipped this shaft to fit. With all of the new models (shafts) that have been released, it's easy to see why Aldila hasn't discontinued this classic! Definitely one of the "best bang for your buck" shafts on the market!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Consistent feel and results! I have been searching for a decent shaft for my TM M1. This shaft is perfect. Sacrificed some distance but gained complete control. I can shape a variety of shots and haven't been in trouble with this shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shaft I bought the Aldila NV green shaft to go in my R-15 driver. I had the shaft pured, trimmed and a new adaptor and taylormade grip installed. I have this shaft in a 7 wood and 9 wood and it's just right for me. I firmly believe in puring (spine align) the shaft. I got the new shaft, put it right in my R-15 and it hits great, also about 15 yards further. I will also get it for my R-15 3 wood.

Is a Aldila 65 sNV shaft close to a Uniflex shaft?

Asked by: gooffe
A Uniflex would be a shaft that is between an R and S flex. If you took the NV 65 R flex and tip trimmed 1/2" for installation into a driver it would play between the R and S flex.

Can I get the aldila n v 65 , stiff, with the adaptor for my taylor made m 1 driver, if so how much would it cost.

Asked by: Bones
Yes we have the shaft and the adaptor available. The NV65 is $44.99 and the Taylor Made Adaptor for the M1 (TM0023) is $29.99. The adaptor listed as 2 degrees matches the stock one used by Taylor Made in the M1 driver. http://www.golfworks.com/taylormade-m1-m2-r-15-sldr-shaft-adaptor/p/TM0023/

Using the .335 shaft in a head using a .350 shaft needs a shim. Where do I get the shim ? Would it be the .335 BB9048 adapter ? If I order the shaft do you send the adapter with it ?

Asked by: RodyMac
If you are using a Ping driver the BB9048 for the .335" shaft will shim your .335" shaft into the .350" hosel bore. The adapter does not come with the shaft order. You need to order it separately. http://www.golfworks.com/ping-i20-and-g-series-shaft-adaptors/p/BB9048/

I have a Ping Driver head (G5) that needs a new shaft, but I am not sure what size tip to buy. A 335 or 350 ??

Asked by: RodyMac
The G5 driver used a .350" tip diameter shaft but there are very few .350" tip diameter shafts available these days. Use the BB9048 adapter, the one marked .335", and you can install any .335" tip diameter wood shaft that you would like.

Do the shafts come with adapter for x hot 2

Asked by: Nickel
No you have to purchase the Callaway shaft adapter for the X2 Hot separately. The order code for the shaft adapter is CA0020. http://www.golfworks.com/callaway-advanced-opti-force-shaft-adaptor/p/CA0020/

What is the difference between NSV and NS shafts?

Asked by: Chuck
The NVS is designed to produce a mid trajectory. The NV is designed to produce a low/mid trajectory. the NVS will play a little more flexible then the NV even in the same flex.

I still play a Titleist 905R, one of the best drivers they made, it has a ALDILA 65-S and at times it feels like a R-FLEX, would a 75-S be a better choice if I wish to remain in a stiff flex ?

Asked by: PJMc
The 75 S from our testing did not test stiffer then the 65 S. So other then the increase in weight I am not sure that you would notice much difference.
